  1. Reporting Personnel: Laila Cowart Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Station Engineer Game ID: b7K-ctT4 Personnel Involved: - Andrej Wright - Station Engineer: Offender - Alexovich Dyatlov - Station Engineer: Offender - Laila Cowart - Station Engineer: Whitness Secondary Witnesses: - Avery Dawkins - Captain, Were informed of the situations via PDA messaging service and kept up-to-date on the issues. Time of Incident: around 1900 station time Real Time: around 19:40 GMT+2 Location of Incident: Engineering Department - entire NSS Aurora Nature of Incident: [X] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ Overview of the Incident: (General description of the incident, to include as much detail as is deemed necessary) I woke up late from cryosleep on the station. As per usual, I inquired about the status of the station, yet none of my co-workers deemed it necessary to brief me or respond. I immediately noticed on my wrist bound computer that we were producing an unusual amount of energy. over 6000 kilowatts to be exact. In stark contrast to the usual 2000-3000 kilowatts. I investigated further and noticed several atmospheric alarms, unnoticed by the other engineering staff for a prolonged amount of time it would seem. Almost all of those alarms effected the Engine core. The main core chamber, the heaters. Everything. As well as some sublevel maintenance tunnels. I investigated further as to the massive amount of power produced, when I found out, that my co-workers had activated the Tesla engine without any reason to do so and left it unsupervised, while making a disposal chute loop on the surface. Around this time I started to contact the captain about my engineering co-workers failing to respond to do their duties. I then investigated the core area for a source of the breach. as it turned out, a Level-7 biohazard has been forming and eating away a large chunk of terrain and station directly under the main engine core. For some time too it would appear. However, it never reached the Tesla Bay, which was apparent due to a lack of atmospheric alarms in that area. I also checked via cameras on the Tesla Bay before moving to combat the level-7, it was fine. At this point, I impolitely asked my co-workers to respond to the situation at hand, and informed the crew of the level-7 biohazard. One of my co-workers by the name of Andrej Wright announced at this point that they would "turn off" the Tesla engine. I of course informed them, that this wasn't as easily done as he made it sound like, to no answer. Not a minute later, he announce the Tesla Engine breached containment. This information was immediately forwarded by me to the rest of the station. After announcing the breach of containment in the Tesla bay to the rest of the station, I proceeded to vacate the sub-deck to maintain my own life and asses the situation at hand. I was able to make out on the cameras, that several containment shield emitters had been obliterated by the tesla, which made containment more difficult. Especially as there was a level-7 close by, still needing to be combated. I informed the captain a little bit more on the on goings via PDA messaging services, while trying to find out, how the tesla breached containment over radio frequencies from my co-workers. They blamed that the level-7 (located southern of the Tesla bay) managed to cut the power (located northern of the tesla bay) without causing an atmospheric alarm or be visible on cameras. It was around this point evacuation was called, and I told the captain that it was my opinion, that the rescue of the sublevel without better recourses would be futile. Evacuation commenced without any problems. The tesla was not re-contained before the shuttle left the station. Submitted Evidence: None could be collected between discovery and the called evacuation of the Station. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Avery Dawkins, Captain Actions taken: A general emergency evacuation of the NSS Aurora was called. Additional Notes: I would like to request that the employment of the offenders be reevaluated or at least that they be demoted to engineering apprentices again.
  2. From my several interactions with Faith, and the few with Lemmons, I feel comfortable to say, that they are fairly good at making interessting characters, and bringing them over well. Since I mainly had interactions with Faith, I can mainly recall events with her. THey played her well, very discriptive emotes you seldom see anywhere else done to this extent. And the implementations of their mental illnesses also always come over well. In sort, I feel that you will do great so a biiiig +1 from me!
  3. I had a lot of interactions with Faith Windsor, and I can say, with some confidence, she's a horrible drug dealer. No, jokes aside, Windsor is a pretty well done character. Granted, a bit snowflakey, but still good. They got some illnesses that always lead for some interessting interactions. She's also helping one of my chars out in his efforts to become clean and away from drug abuse. Sadly, I didn#t have any interactions with her other characters (that I can remember at least), but from what I have heared, they seem to be quite well too. Keep doing what yer doing!
  4. Let there be tea! +1
  5. You forgot the most important part! Volvalaad beating prisoners!
  6. Well, I had several shifts with Lock as the active Department Head now. And a lot of what I would have wanted to say was said already here, but I'll just repeat it shortly again here. From what I have seen, Lock is pretty well at doing his job, he takes time to listen about problems interdepartmental as well as issues regarding other matters, yet has no hesitation to act quickly either, when it comes about reacting fast to something. He always brings in a good deal of RP into the round, from what I have seen, and is good at handeling difficult people (cough, Nick, cough) as well as haveing a good udnerstanding of what needs to be done and how to best get people doing it. I really do enjoy most rounds with this character, so another, well earned, +1
  7. BYOND Key: achroknight Total Ban Length: permanent Banning staff member's Key: sircatnip Reason of Ban: Consistent cases of Validhunting, despite already beeing warned and banned previuesly for this. Charged an active combat situation with an illigaly crafted weapon to hunt antags as an Engineer, granted the intent was to recover wounded Officers, but Engineers should not be hunting antags. Especially when you're blocking security's path and fireing line. Reason for Appeal: It's been quite some time, since these incidents happend. I have re-read the rules since and improved my RP with the helps of Bay. I think I am able to follow the rules, thouh I think I'll have to read a lot of change logs for the time I was gone.
  8. Thanks very much! I shall not disappoint you!
  9. BYOND Key: achroknight Total Ban Length: Permant / Remaining Time: Eternity Banning staff member's Key: garnascus Reason of Ban: You have a large history of breaking the rules and failing to meet this server roleplay expectations. Your behavior IC in this complaint https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=31=9144 Note: The link does no longer connect you to the original complaint, but here is the new link: https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=9144 Reason for Appeal: I know I messed up on that incident that was featured in the complaint linked above and I would like to show, after re-reading the rules once again, that I am able to spit out some higher quality RP. As my records show, I have a not so quiet history of non-perfect RP... But I improved with every Bwoink I got and tried to improve my RP. I must admit, I here and there had set backs, but god damn, Aurora is my favorite ss13 server, and I'd like to give it another chance, and to pull off a newer, better RP stile. I know I messed up badly in this last incident and I have no excuses for what I did there, so I can totally understand if this appeal will be denied. Anyways, thanks for reading throuh throuh all of this!
  10. I've met Annika a couple times ICly, and you allways seem good with your RP, I think you could do a great IPC as well! +1 from me
  11. Hm... Thats a good question, I'd say, I would maybe do that round dependend, like each round one of either engi or sec, with (a lil more then" basic first aid knowledge, if it would be allowed for me?
  12. ohh, he is great! +1
  13. BYOND Key: achroknight Character Names: Alicia Forest, Aaron Conway, Isaac Catman Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Grey/Metallic looking with a blue screen Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: Because they is so different from any organic. They are so special. They have no emotions, no feeling, but try to simulate it anyways, they try to mimic organics in a way, that is so special that only they can do it. I think of 'Data' from 'Star Trek' or 'Sonny' from 'I, robot'. they are so different from humans, even better then humans in many ways, but still, they don't get over their heads with that, even trying to get along with humans and to peacefully co-exist, to become more human themselfs even. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: They are IPCs, can behave simular to humans, or completly cold, doing their job without caring about anything else. As bevor, when I think of IPCs, I think of 'Data' from 'Star Trek' or 'Sonny' from 'I, robot', so different in so many ways, maybe even better then humans, but trying to mimic them and to get along. Character Name: A.R.K. #137 Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs A.R.K. #137 is a normal Baseline frame, which was purchased by a private company to be used as a cheap alternative to security or maintenance units. But the company went bankrupt and thus sent the Unit to be trashed. The unit was never destroyed thouh as it was adopted and supported by Alicia Forest who maintained and helped A.R.K. A.R.K. has since then tried to become more human like in it's behavior and tries to help the station it is assigned on. What do you like about this character? That he tries despite all to come along with everybody else and become more human How would you rate your role-playing ability? 5/10 Notes:
