Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: I do. For awhile I was an unofficial head administrator on Exogenesis.
Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: I have not been banned on this server.
Personality
Why do you play SS13?: I play SS13 as it provides a source of entertainment for me. Call me crazy, but I enjoy doing paperwork and doing the unforgiving security work that SS13 demands.
Why do you play on Aurora?: I play on Aurora because of the Heavy RP. I enjoy the community and the play style it promotes. It meets what I want from SS13: a good community and heavy RP.
What do moderators do?:
Moderators are the 'front-line' of staff. They:
1) Answer a-helps from players regarding events on station.
2) Ensure server regulations are followed.
3) Provide guidance and assistance to new players.
4) Ensure a pleasant play experience for as many players as possible.
What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?:
To be a moderator with Aurora is to be part of the staff team that maintains a heavy RP environment in a sea of servers that promote robustness.
It means to give to the community by providing a service on a volunteer basis.
It means to hold oneself to a high standard to set an example for others.
Why do you want to be a moderator?:
I want to be a moderator with Aurora because I wish to give back to the community. It has provided me a new home in the turbulent seas of SS13. I want to see it endure and grow to reach greater heights, and I want to assist in that growth.
What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?:

Those three qualities are my top three. They facilitate ease of interaction with others and provide a strong basis for positions of trust such as this.
How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?:
I handle stress, anger, and insults by keeping calm, cool, and respectful. I am slow to anger and seek to keep any escalating situation grounded by providing a calm word in a level tone. I play security on a regular basis. It is, in fact, the only job I play. It helps one build a thicker skin and a restrained tongue to keep at such work for two years.
