How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: Not very well actually, but I am slowly learning Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: I do not Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: I have not. Personality Why do you play SS13?: My friends showed me the game and I found it interesting for Roleplay. Why do you play on Aurora?: Simple answer really, I find it is the best place for RP. What do moderators do?:Kill the bal- Help teach players that are new to the game the mechanics, help settle disputes and help players who are generally having trouble. They also have to handle punishments to players who break the rules along with admins, and handle griefers and other such scenarios. At the end of the day, they are people who take time out of there day just to help the average player or help the admins when things get crazy. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: It is a honor to be a moderator and it is a lot of work. It is an honor because the community puts trust into you to help make a better experience for everyone involved, and that is not something to be taken lightly. It is work because you both have to help new players learn how to play the game and even sometimes learn how to roleplay, while also being the law in a sense with the admins and making sure no rules are broken. Why do you want to be a moderator?:I enjoy helping people I guess, and really want to help settle some of the problems that may arise on the server. I also have a three year plan to slowly take over the server and rule the - I mean. I would really love to help people! What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?:I will be honest. I am human, I do get angry, I do occasionally take insults personally when I'm staff, and being a college student, I suffer from a lot of stress. But I have experience in those conditions, I have learned how to handle them and learned how to not let them affect me. I cannot be this emotionally detached person, but I can brush those insults off, I can take a moment to cool down if I need to. Tenenza Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 I am interested in this not-a-bribe. What's the frequency on the 5-dollar flow? You said for the rest of your life, but like, how often? Are we talking once a week, or once a decade? Is this still valid if we die? You said lives, so are you measuring the average life of the staff? What if the server goes down for good?
