Bygonehero Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Similar to how the medical lobby has a rafter area, most hallways should also have this. The edges of which could be perimetered by gangways. This is to use the climbing mechanic more inside the station and to introduce more verticality to the overall station.
BurgerBB Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 I kind of actually want to do this but I'm worried about performance. My bar overhaul update introduces rafters in the bar, and if people like that new area then perhaps I can make rafters in the hallways.
LordFowl Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Meaningless verticality will just be a performance drain. If there is nothing up there what is the point? The proposed bar rafters are a particular exercise in excess.

The Aurora is the flagship station of NT so it will look nice, skyviews of the stars is nice.
LordFowl Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 But you can't view the stars from the rafters anyways. So again it's a performance drain with no point. Few people will go up there because there is nowhere to go.
