Doggie666
The locater devices/tracking beacons in the xenoarch lockers are pretty dang useless. We already have GPSes and sensors. Instead, how about shoulder cameras with a live feed that are mountable on the excavation suits and a monitoring console in anomaly isolation? It would make interactions between the anomalist and the xenoarcheologist a lot more interesting if the anomalist chooses to not go EVA or if there is more than one anomalist. That laptop in isolation could be a lot more functional than just to look at the air alarms. You could look at the cameras from there. Link to comment
VTCobaltblood
Already possible; ask R&D to make you body cameras (which is literally 1 circuit if you know what you're doing), then they can watch it from their modular laptops and tablets. I don't support cutting away more interaction between sci subdepartments. This is like asking to get xenoarcheology KAs/drills in their lockers. Go out of the sublevel and ask for stuff. You'd be surprised what R&D can do. Edited February 16, 2019 by VTCobaltblood Link to comment
Chada1
Big fan of this idea as a Xenoarcheology player! Link to comment

You'd be surprised what R&D can do. I've never seen anybody ask for body cameras. Seems like a slippery slope to think that it means we should have everything that will make the job easier or that it will severely limit the interactions between parts of the science department. Anomalies often involves the skills of everybody in the department. A console in general would be fantastic in anomaly isolation. Link to comment

KingOfThePing
How about some tape, to seal up the digging site? It's purely flavour, but it could work similar to engineering/security tape. Only RP, but what isnt with Xenoarcheology. I would suggest more, but I can't find the list I wrote and would wait until after the science remap to whine about more. Link to comment

KingOfThePing
Okay. Next suggestion, this is for people like @VTCobaltblood. Some kind of trolley or hand wagon to put anomalies on. It is extremely silly to just drag them behind you without a care in the world, for example when you have to move through public hallways. Do you think something could be done? Link to comment
IAmCrystalClear
Photocopier please. Thanks Link to comment
KingOfThePing
There is one in the study room, down the hallway, south of Xenobiology. Link to comment
