Reason for complaint: Behavior which I can only describe as baiting out of boredom or frustration. Unfair Judgement.

During an RP session after sufficient build up was made near the end of a traitor round, Nora found the exact traitor that had been opening fire on her friends and crewmates, she also had the knowledge that this particular person killed her idol. with her traitorous connections she had brought in a Plasteel hammer and a .357 Magnum. This traitor had been on the ground, winded from the sustained fire they obtained from another security officer lying not too far away. so she'd stumble over as, she were injured too (But that wasn't going to stop her from ending the menace threatening her crew), and swung that hammer against the armored traitor until both armor suit, bone, and metal were crushed alike. first starting with the head, but then I moved onto the upperbody to make it look like wild, feral swings, (I was immersed at the time, I thought it would be interesting insight if a forensic technician saw Nora's handiwork. To improve roleplay). I was making quite a lot of swings around a lot of people, perhaps trying to roleplay for themselves, who probably didn't need a lot of logs of me smashing the body up (but that wouldn't be adhering to Nora's character to stop, Nor is Looc a good place to tell somebody to stop doing something). I kept swinging until I felt Nora would be satisfied, and then took out the .357 and shot both legs and then the groin for good measure. throwing the gun onto the body and leaving the hammer on scene. I don't pay much attention looc or usernames but i'm not rude enough to ignore people who I think are talking to me. I responded to a few people , one of these persons asking my character to stop slamming the hammer down on the traitor that caused all of the mischief and damage. I ignored them, naturally as I don't let looc influence my ic behavior. as I walked away, after unloading three shots into the body I was forcibly winded via administrative action and I became quite annoyed, and then outraged at the conversation that took place. I have logs of the beginning of the sit, to the end of the round and sit.

My statement Easy to follow, not text wall statement is this...

the Moderator, Shadow7889. decided they didn't like looking at the damage logs, so they told me in Looc to stop. (Refer to Additional remarks) They got ignored and received more damage logs. 

They decided to wind me icly and then 'Boink' me in a sit. with "Cool, so I told you to stop" (My attention is now at full, and my immersion is broken at this point. Being Boinked is always top priority over rp, especially if you're dead or incapacitated like I was forced to be)

Their next question being 'Reason for shooting them?' So I tell them the full story from the git go

I tell them my ic reasons, and admit that I was swayed slightly in looc. I also state that I didn't know that it was an administrative order, as I wasn't boinked to stop to begin with. I tell them I don't pay attention to usernames nor acknowledge looc that closely. 

they retort with something like "I shouldn't have to say i'm administration, you should know me already, we talked a bit" (I don't have them added and the only staff I knew prior to this was head-admin and Prate. (I still can't tell anyone head-admin's name from memory yet)

And after that, I start feeling as if they're being short with me, not explaining or acknowledging my point of view. Shadow had said something like "This is getting you a warning, make sure you acknowledge it, thanks"

This is the point where I admit that I lost my temper, and start sparking up and flaming. I type back "are you serious?" wanting to be proven wrong, I thought that surely this was a poorly thought up joke. 

shadow replys with "You didn't stop when I told you to"

I'm livid at this point, seeing stars even. I recall this moment very closely as I had a death grip on my own legs (formed bruises btw, fun fact). I type something like "If you wanted me to stop, you should've used your authority and boinked me, this is ludicrous on a skeleton shift so late at night and so close to the end of the round. I showed sass to somebody in looc that told me to stop being ic, a 'stop' in looc and a 'stop' with a boink are two different situations"

 Then they issue the warning, I pride myself in a clean record and not being such a problem.. but with my pride already shattered from this issued warning? I lost it. This admin wasn't listening to me, wasn't making an attempt to understand where I was coming from, AND was being short with me? I was already typing in caps, but I couldn't scream at this smug unit any louder than I wanted to.

He told me "First,  chill it with the caps"

"Second, you should already know i'm an admin, we've both been in this server long enough and talked to eachother ooc"

WOW. REALLY? BECAUSE I DIDN'T. I play on different servers with hundreds of different people, no username is sacred to me unless they're on my friends list and I talk to them constantly. On one hand, i'm flattered they recognize me, but on the other hand, recognizing me doesn't mean you should have the expectation of me recognizing you. what's important or memorable to you, isn't as important or memorable to other people.

Additional remarks: 

I've got four big, BIG things I wanna say with this. (maybe it's anger speaking. but there should be some goddamn standards in a staff team)

1. if you are administration, attempting to command another person with your authority. DO NO SPEAK IN LOOC, BOINK THEM. YOU HAVE SPECIAL POWERS, USE THEM.

2. If you are administration, Consider another person's/Character's viewpoint before telling them to cease an i.c Action. if you don't understand what they're doing? BOINK THEM AND ASK ABOUT IT, YOU HAVE SPECIAL POWERS. USE THEM FOR MORE THAN JUST UNJUST PUNISHMENT AND TELLING PEOPLE TO STOP.

3. if you are administration and if you have problems getting tons of logs, CONSIDER GETTING SOME REST, TAKING A BREAK, NOT BEING STAFF, OR THE EASIEST CHOICE AMONG THEM: IGNORE IT. After all, most B.S is already ignored, ignore the spam too. it's not like i'm copy pasting stupid copy-pasta or other shit. if a character wants to beat a corpse into a bloody pulp (Especially as a fucking traitor) fucking let em. you don't know what they have planned, Refer to #2

4. DON'T GET A BLOATED HEAD BECAUSE YOU'RE AN UNPAID VOLUNTEER STAFFMEMBER, HIGHER THAN EVERYONE ELSE ON A SERVER YOU LIKE TO PLAY ON. NOT EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME, NOT EVERYBODY WILL GIVE YOU THE RESPECT YOU MAY OR MAY NOT THINK YOU ARE DUE. A STAFF MEMBER'S DUTY ISN'T TO BE LIKED, IT'S TO MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THE SERVER AND TO ENFORCE RULES FAIRLY AND TO ENCOURAGE AND HELP THOSE THAT STRUGGLE TO KEEP UP. THROWING WARNINGS AROUND WILLY NILLY ISN'T GOING TO HELP, TALKING TO A PERSON HAVING TROUBLE WITH /your/ interpretation of rules, respectfully and politely (regardless of how you're treated) is the best course of action.

Moderately cooled down update

you need to provide a brief description of the event. Its a little hard to piece together what happened from your remarks. also for the love of god relax with your tone. You're way more likely to get a desirable outcome if you dont rage at us.

Give me a day or two to get @Shadow7889 to provide their context here. I do have to say though that if you need to deal with any player in the capacity of staff you PM them. Full stop. A player cannot and is not expected to recognize you from LOOC.

Yeah, if nothing else I will take away from this the need to PM players via our verbs. As for context, the logs from the round time really speak for themselves. I saw the encounter with the RD? I think it was the Director, and Nora. Director was a traitor, as was Nora. There was some combat with the ISD I think then the RD was down'd in the fight. nora proceeded to deal with them, by using a kneebreak hammer to smash their head in. I don't have issues with logs most times, and if it's for the sake of your IC intentions, such as Nora's clear and intentional rage, that's perfectly fine with me. Traitors can often get a bit more leeway with these situations. Anyways, after I think.. five or six extra swings after the RD died, I told Nora to stop, via LOOC. They did stop. Only after informing me in LOOC that they were not going to. I'm not toggled to anon ckey, so it shows up. No issue. I informed them again, stop. They complied, only to step back, draw a weapon and fire three times into the Director. At that point, I believe I winded them, and PM'd them. Following admin logs show the rest. From my perspective, this seemed like they had no intention to listen. Yes. I should have PM'd them in the first place. Still, it seems really hard to believe they didn't know who I was. Been staff for a while now. I am aware that not everyone plays on Aurora 99% of the time. However I see this ckey on quite a bit. I am going forward fromh ere with stopping logs via PM's from on out, to avoid confusion like this again. And to avoid causing issues for our players. Thank you.
