Faris Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Before I start this post with anything in particular, I want to clarify something. Reviewing the logs and witness testimonies, it is very clear that the round was a hectic one with varying perspectives on different situations. So a few things were already handled during the round, I'll go over them still to clarify. 1- There was an adminhelp regarding Directive 2. Alberyk did take this ticket and corrected Outboard on it. I don't have much to add beyond what's already been said. 2- While a adminhelp did coincide to be before medical was called in, they didn't actually need to be nudged by staff to call them. Considering the nature of the round, I have no reason to doubt that the delay is attributed how hectic it was and not malice. However, hectic or not, the logs does show that it is very likely Juan spent a good amount of time around Walker, the injured, that by all intents they should have noticed this and acted appropriately. The excuse of micromanagement does not really fly when a person is gasping and coughing blood and asking for air all in your presence, the circumstances you are in determine priority. Having a conversation while a detainee is suffering in your proximity is not very believable, regardless of how you spin be it your characters hatred to the detainee or a lack of empathy. To sum it up, you as a player need to keep track of whats happening around you, not asking you to be omnipotent about everything, but you do at the very least be aware of your characters surrounding. The logs on this are distinct and you shouldn't tunnel vision. 3- The adminhelp regarding the prison timer is as follows. Spoiler 03:29:52.381 - Cuffs get slapped on Fernando. 03:52:15.507 - The topic of lengthy detainment is brought up with Garn. [2019-08-26 03:53:47.398] b2V-anGr SAY: Outboarduniform/(Juan Siganto) : (Ceti Basic) We've interrogated Fernando enough, I think. [2019-08-26 03:54:01.466] b2V-anGr SAY: Outboarduniform/(Juan Siganto) : (Ceti Basic) Get him processed for Organising a Breakout and Assault. [2019-08-26 03:55:47.698] b2V-anGr SAY: Outboarduniform/(Juan Siganto) : (Ceti Basic) minimum time for Assault and Organising a Breakout. [03:57:50.178] b2V-anGr ATTACK: Kaden Rivers attempted to remove PDA-Fernando Gonzales (Chief Medical Officer) from (Fernando Gonzales) Coincidentally Juan also did try to get you processed, I can understand why the belief they had to be spoken to came from but they did try to move this on their own volition. However, there is a some issue. There does seem to be a misunderstanding of prison sentences. Corporate regulation is very clear about prisoner timers, in that a standard prison sentence is static unless stated otherwise, the minimum aspect of timers only applied to repeat offenses, which from what I gather, is not a repeat. Now onto the thing that hasn't be addressed specifically by staff. I'll sum it up with a picture. No. The vault, a high access area with defensive measures to ward off intruders and thieves does come with items of great value. Such as valuable materials, cash, hardsuits, modules and other miscellaneous valuables. Yes, some measures need to be taken in the event that intruders do try to steal, and there are many. What you don't do is have your character don their WH40k commissar hat and take same approach with issues, throwing bodies at them. There are ways to handle this, you can be a corporate zealot but a Head of Security is an individual with a background, training, experience and education to handle things professional and expertly. Employees also have value, so yes, those lowly paid security officers have value as assets to the company as well. So based on all of the above, I will be applying a severe warning with the following text. As a trained, professional and educated Head of Security, you need to place more considerations to the larger picture. In this case, you need to appropriately assess a situation before acting. Throwing almost your entire manpower without tactical or strategic thought into a unplanned attack is not characteristics a Head of Security should be exhibiting, making it unbelievable behavior. Furthermore, as a command player especially, you need to avoid applying tunnel vision to situations, the incidents in the complaint were far too many and big, so you need to pay better attention to what is happening, you can always scroll up to check on things you've missed. Keeping this up for 24 hours before archiving.
