Changing BYOND account

So essentially, I'm looking at changing my Ckey (and other account names across the board in fairness), but due to BYOND being, well, BYOND, the only way to do this seems to be to create an entirely new account. My question therefor goes: If I were to make a new account, would there be any issues with me just copying my characters over? I do have whitelists, so I could see that being an issue, but I am also uncertain as to the server policy (If there is one) on this sort of thing. Thanks.

As far as I know, account migration is no problem when it comes to whitelists and the like. Just contact one of the admins on Discord or forum PMs, maybe. I'm sure they'll help you out. Same with forum display names, afaik

I’m somewhat late to the party.

Migrating a byond account is easy and fast as long as you contact either skull or myself before you connect the first time with the new account.

It is still possible if you have connected, but it’s more effort.
