Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ X ] - Destruction of Property [X ] - Neglect of Duty [ X ] - Harassment [ X ] - Assault [ X ] - Misconduct [ X ] - Other: Striking Overview of the Incident: This one arrived on station about forty minutes after the start, she was filling a role for someone who needed it. She also would like to point out that this was her first day on the Aurora. When she arrived, she made herself known to the cargo department and service areas before going to her office. This one made the announcement detailing who she is, what her role is and how she can help people if needed. Saleema headed to the Cargo department after this, and informed them not to swear in her presence or to swear over the cargo channel, because it is uncanny, unprofessional and simply vulgar. They did not like this apparently, but no one told her this. She did not ban swearing, she just ordered it not to happen in her presence, because it is something she does not like to hear. After this brief order was given, she went to the warehouse, while it had been sorted, it was still unorganized and left a mess via crates being strewn about and open. On the second floor of the warehouse.. she found a pests corpse, a Diyaab, sitting in a pool of its own blood near the case. She was baffled to see that no one cleaned this up. The same issue was here with the crates as well, all open, unorganized, just generally looking tacky and un-neat. So, she ordered them to be organized and closed so it would look neat and orderly. The same as someone keeping their room clean, or making their bed in the morning. Do they have to do it? No, but should they? Yes. This caused an argument between herself and the Quartermaster, who's name has also escaped her, about the crates. Which honestly is childish and ridiculous, because they are crates, closing them takes no effort. They wasted more breathe and time by arguing with this one, rather than just closing the crates. To the point where this one had to threaten a suspension to get them to listen and stop arguing. At this point, she had made her way back to her office to grab her laptop. Directly after, she made her way to the service area's. She instructed the bartender, who's name has eluded this one's memory, that drinks are to be sold at a base price of Five Credits, and that bottles were to be sold at Fifty Credits. The Bartender, a very nice young man, had no issue with this and simply agreed to it. He promptly set up the NT-Quik Pay method and began charging for drinks. Right after this, she went to the Kitchen and ordered the Cook, Helena Raymond, an Idris Contractor, to charge Ten Credits, A meal, Five credits, A appetizer and Five credits a drink, the same as the bar. Why did she order these services to be charged? Because her job is to make sure a profit is made, no matter how little, along with maintaining efficiency in her departments and making sure people are doing their jobs properly, amongst other things. Now, before she continues, she would like to point out that an entire meal would cost no more than FIFTEEN TO TWENTY credits, whereas the vending Machines cost twenty credits for a simple snack, and drink machines the same for a cola. Well, the contractor from Idris, Raymond, decided she wished to argue with this one and constantly get annoyed with it, commonly going into the common channel and claiming that it should be free, and that she is being ridiculous, etcetera. To the point where the HoS had to remind the woman that it was this one's call regarding charging for services or not. Well, this incited her to just close the shutters and take an extended break. Which is fine, because she was just giving this one a headache. After this, Elliot McNair, a Hept contractor, publicly accused her of stealing money, she told him if he slandered her again and continued to be problematic, she would have him suspended. He stopped for some time, before becoming problematic again about the food costing money. She promptly made her way down to the cargo lobby, where she demanded his ID. This is where the issue's began happening. She told him to place his ID on the table. The man complied, but only after calling this one a stuck up "B*tch" and publicly accused her of sleeping with the Head of Security, who she had just met. So of course, she suspended him. Soon after, the Head of Security, Rajjurl Al-Thaalzir, ordered a warrant to be made for the arrest of McNair, due to slander of a head of staff. This is probably what incited this riot. The Cook called her a dictator and went on strike after the arrest of McNair, then the Cargo department followed behind. Buck Thompson and a miner, along with the Quartermaster were the only ones who did not partake in the strike, but instead denounced it and tried to get the unruly contractors to stop. Blue Alert was Declared at this time, and a fax was sent by this one herself to the Odin Layla Starr, and the other Hept Contractor, Jesus Miller tampered with the entry door, and began wasting valuable precious metals to make barricades, they then stated they were on strike and began to destroy things in the Cargo Department. Security quickly mobilized and arrested the two of them, who resisted of course. The personnel who went on strike were, Helena Raymond, Layla Starr, and Jesus Miller. While Elliot McNair was not on strike, he would have been if he was not already suspended and detained. After a few moments, the Security team apprehended the strikers, with the exception of Helena Raymond. The woman was not violent so was not needed for arresting. Until this one requested their ID for suspension since they stated, to this ones face, that they were still on strike. After this one asked for Raymonds ID, she said "Sure, here's my ID" then began to viciously beat this one. She had to step back and draw her side arm- Raymonds response was "Go ahead, shoot" then full force charged this one and began laying into her. So, she had to disable her weapons safety and began firing stun shots into the woman, before the Head of Security stunned her with his baton. She suffered a few cuts and light abrasions to her chest, and has a bruised rib according to the Doctors on the Odin. Of course, Raymond was detained and held until transfer. After this, the Head of Security faxed an update, then she suspended all involved. Layla Starr was the only NanoTrasen personnel involved. The rest were contractors. Also, it is worth noting that Jesus Miller attempted suicide over all of this. and Elliot McNair sicced his dog on the Head of Security as they were all transferring. Submitted Evidence: Faxes had been sent about this large incident. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: She faxed Central Command, but other than that, she was the superior. Actions taken: Riot gear was issued and the unrest was quelled quickly, four people were detained and everything returned to normal operations. Additional Notes: She wants to point out that several people just threw away their careers and lifestyles, over food costing ten credits. OOC Comment - This was all extended and there was no antags invovled. Link to comment
