CampinKiller Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 BYOND Key: CampinKiller Game ID: ca9-cIgV Player Byond Key/Character name: Ricko Staff involved: N/A Reason for complaint: Poor antag play. The player did very little over the course of the round to contribute to it in any manner at all, other than doing a couple of relatively minor things and providing no narrative or story to do these things, before simply saying they did absolutely nothing when arrested by security and suddenly teleporting away in interrogation. The three things they did over the course of the round were: 1. Break into the HoP's office and steal some stuff. This was done from maintenance and was only discovered well after it because the Captain (avery's captain) noticed a locker was missing. 2. Bomb a random place on the surface with no buildup, explanation, or clear intention. 3. When in interrogation after simply saying they were just a visitor over and over, randomly teleporting away into maintenance. They did this again on the shuttle right as it left. This sort of antag play does not contribute anything to the round at all. At the least I feel that they should be talked to regarding what is expected from an antagonist and proper escalation. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? Yes, but it was not taken by any staff Approximate Date/Time: 3/19/2021 at 1400 CDT

Breaking into places and stealing things is kind of par for the course for any antag. There is literally no situation in which I would tell an antag player "no you cannot break into that place and steal that thing". Generally this is done by very new antag players who just do not have the experience to formulate a good reason as to WHY they are doing the things they are doing. That comes with time. When we look at bombs some factors we consider are "was this in a heavy traffic area?" "where there unexpected casualties?" "Was it a big bomb or a small one?". So as an example blowing up a welder bomb at the surface pool is absurdly easy to justify. A max cap bomb in the middle of medical lobby with 4 people in it is much much harder to justify. What kind of bomb was this? Where there any casualties? On 19/03/2021 at 15:48, CampinKiller said: 3. I do not completely understand this one. Was he a wizard or a raider mage? How did he accomplish this?

Burglar, I have no idea how it was accomplished, I wasn't aware burglars could shortrange teleport in handcuffs
Garnascus Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 I forgot to lock and archive this one. Not taking any action against this player. From what i saw this player was pretty new to antagging. These things sort themselves out as someone learns how to deal with the nerves of antagging. Long as he isnt ganking people or causing unnecessary collateral.
