BYOND Key: Trinvo
Character Names: Jebediah Grabher, Rufus Douglass, Harry Danklburg, Garry Nikkelson
Species you are applying to play: IPC
What color do you plan on making your first alien character: N/A
Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:

Non-RP Mechanics: Integrated Positronic Chassis' is a metallic skeleton for Positronic Brains to reside in, They are capable of doing most things as humans; Moving, Talking, Holding and Jumping. Though they are not capable of consuming foods, drinks and other things due to their limitations. They are not living beings, They are machines which is perfect for a variety of jobs including: Jobs that require heavy-lifting, ability to operate information/heavy machinery or simply electrical work without insulation.

RP Mechanics: IPCs are also a great pick for those who are not so experienced with Heavy Roleplay due to their ability to apply to any situation without not that many problems, Of course, Players need to be serious and stay in-character while playing as an IPC. Otherwise than that, IPCs also allow for easy access to areas with dangerous chemicals, gasses or more making them a perfect pick for such habitats.

Character Name: Vostok-1 (Already created character, Lacked background)
Please provide a short backstory for this character:

06.18.2461 - Vostok-1 has been built on Luna by ConTec, Vostok-1 was named after first ever russian space capsule sent into the space. The IPC was ordered by Zavodskoi Interstellar as a part of their order regarding the new protective IPCs for NanoTrasen, Which included other IPCs of similar type.

11.25.2461 - Vostok-1 has been exposed to the training protocole which taught him the basics of Close Quarters Combat, Handling with a weapon and basic information regarding the gear he is going to be utilising. The IPC had no issues since his original activation and continues to learn as the time goes on, Other IPCs from the same line of production do not seem to be having difficulties either.

09.08.2462 - The training has been completed, Vostok-1 has been sent for testing to a nearby Vessel also commonly refered to as "Gigalyo", Crew has reported that Vostok-1 seems to be aggresive, We will check that out once he is sent back to us. There were also reports about him being "ruthless" or "reasonable" with his arrests, Vostok-1's prisoners were not harmed upon closer examination of the topic, IPC has been sent back to Luna for further examinations of his Positronic Brain.

30.12.2462 - Vostok-1 has been adjusted and had his protocols updated due to an issue with the material, We also installed NanoTrasen security handbook on his Processor and taught him the basic NT Rules regarding the basic Cyborg's. He has been cooperative and we will soon ship him to NanoTrasen to fulfill the Contract, Most of the IPCs are ready for shipment.

19.07.2463 - All IPCs were shipped and we are continuing our work with another line. Vostok-1 has not shown any issues since we sent him to NanoTrasen and we are happy to announce that this was a success, Documentation will be filed and sent to Command.

What do you like about this character?

I personally think this IPC is a fine mix between Aggressive (How Security operates) and Calm (How IPC is supposed to act) making it a perfect pick for Zavodskoi due to their ways of operating in terrain or on-board of vessels. They are ruthless but also not horrible to their prisoners, This is pretty much why I enjoy this character.

Hi! Thanks for applying! Some concerns on the application.

Could you expand more on this part? Talk more about how IPCs think and how they're treated. No need to worry about separating RP and non-RP elements.

Is there any significance behind why they chose Vostok as the name?

Please expand a little more on the backstory, such as why it is aggressive, why it would be allowed to work if it shows excessive aggression as well as how more than two years of being active would have affected the way it behaves. Could you also tell us more how Vostok behaves in general?

IPCs are technically similar to humans when it comes to thinking, They are not impaired in any way but they have an issue with understanding some things such as Sarcasm. I'd say they are even smarter than humans in some cases depending on their self-learning abilities. Also, IPCs are most of the time treated equally but in some nations (or planets, depends) they may be enslaved, sold or even programmed to be specifically mindless workers with no word in the matter.

I did forget to make that clear, Sorry. Anyways, Vostok has decided to use this as their name for the meaning of the actual meaning of it. The name was suggested by researchers due to the significane of it, What they've thought is that they have reborned a machine into a living being such as what happened with the astronaut on board of Vostok-1 space capsule. OOCly speaking, The name has no actual meaning in-game and was chosen due to how I saw it, as a "reborned" machinery which is learning more than it was supposed to about it's sentience.

Again, Sorry for making this complicated. Vostok-1 was never supposed to be aggresive, (neither is at the current time!) his actions are just seen as cruel or aggresive by crewmembers due to how automated it is. Vostok does not care about patient's mental health, All it was ordered to do was tackle the suspect and bring him to law (which also doesn't mean it wasn't taught about the damage it may cause to a human being with enough force). Vostok-1 was originally quite a limited IPC as it was incapable of doing anything Security related, It slowly began to soak with knowledge as the years passed on due to the training material it was exposed to such as Security Training VHS and Handbooks. At the current time, Vostok-1 is a pretty much automated peacekeeper who was trained to see crime as a worst thing and law as a literal unchangeable rule who everyone should follow, No matter how rich or poor they are. Vostok-1 is generally calm with it's actions, Never raising a hand on a co-worker or a crewmate just because they were littering. Vostok-1 was taught how to tackle the suspects and how to be a useful, yet peaceful security guard.

I think I've answered all of your questions and hope that you enjoyed this character I've made up in my head.
