Guest Menown
The tiny spiders aren't a threat. Let's make them a threat. Give them the ability to bite and cause some liver killing toxin damage. Link to comment
VoltageHero
If spiders are ignored, the "giant spiders" can easily kill crew members. In large numbers, they are a pretty big hassle. Don't think more is really needed tacked onto them. Them being easy to kill as spider-lings, is there to give people a chance. Link to comment
Frances
We're missing Covert/Tuiee-era spider infestations. If I get made into an admin again, I promise to bring back daily spider infestation rounds. Link to comment
Guest
Bring back ERPStopper 9000 mechs, exploding anti-ERP clowns and floating, abusive brains to harass people. Still, though. Spooders should grow if they get ignored. Same with lizards. They should grow into massive threshbeasts. Link to comment
Carver
Still, though. Spooders should grow if they get ignored. They do. I've walked into the IA Office as a Security Officer to handle a 'small spider' only to have it instantly grow into a Guard Spider as I went to smash it. Though it can sometimes occur in which a spider never grows, not too sure about the parameters of growth. It appears to depend a slight bit on whether you get the 'Lifesigns detected, secure the vents' event or the 'Spiders are interrupting productivity in X room' event. Link to comment
mrimatool
I wish spiders were more of a threat I agree, because currently everyone and their dog picks up a pen and goes after them. Oh and on the note of AI mobs, I used to spawn re SPC things to attack ERP'ers xD Link to comment

The ones that appear in random, nondesignated places are the spooky spooders. The other ones are just annoying, and usually concentrated in one area. Link to comment
Guest
There are 2 types of Infestation: Infestations, one is a generic any kind of vermin where there is a chance for up to 3 spiderlings can be created in selected area's, small threat, if left too long could turn into something bigger. The second type is spider_infestation which spawns up to 12 spiderlings in one go on any part of the station, big threat. Spiderlings have a 50% chance of turning into a Giant Spider. What you are getting most of the time is the standard Infestation probably due to who is online at the time as the event manager selects what event to run baised off, how many players are online, and how many players there are in X department.
