Reason of Ban: As burglar, took a Cargo Tech hostage and shot them five times in the head, headgibbing them at around 35 minutes, claiming that you didnt know it would kill them. This is very flimsy and doesn#39t really make sense, and you have a super long note history. You should know better than this by now, man. You can appeal this on the forums
Reason for Appeal: I steeped in a depressing amount of self-disappointment after this ban, not because I got it, antagonist is hard to play and I usually chucklefuck my way into an antag ban about every year and a half. What tore me up about this ban was that it wasn't any antag ruling fogginess that I fell over. It was a complete and utter lack of game knowledge. I had always watched Sec use .45's to behead lings and the like, and it got in my head that 9mm, being a smaller caliber, wasn't capable of doing the same. In the mentioned round, I shot someone in the head a a lot in Operations with a 9mm, a gun I almost never used as antag because I often opted for a larger caliber. After I shot them, I was going to throw them to the paramedics and let them get treated in Medical, its right next door so the response time would've been tiny. Once they were thrown at medical, we would've been escalated and we could go about our evil deeds on Sec's radar. Then I took their head off with with the 9mm. 

I really didn't begrudge Roostercat at all for saying my supposed ignorance was a flimsy reason, I've been running about here since 2014 or so, but it was the truth. After the weapons and armor code got reworked a few years ago, I never bothered with code diving to look at the values closely. So, after a long break from playing, to cooldown and to work on my studies, I came back and began writing this guide as a sort of personal penance for my earlier stupidity. Writing the guide had me code diving for all the damage values for the weapons and their projectiles. The wiki is out of date and my guide is incomplete for the entire uplink, but I put every weapon found in a traitor uplink on there before I moved on to other categories because of this incident. Anyone who opens that guide will find that I put "every bullet has the sharp tag" at the top of the weapons category. 

All that to say, I felt like a asshat for what happened and I've put in some elbow grease to see that it doesn't occur again.
