Game ID: cp5-cNIS
Player Byond Key/Character name: RDM - Robotic Assistant
Staff involved: N/A
Reason for complaint: RDM does not follow orders.
Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No, the round was near end. I ahelped on a different issue with RDM weeks back around round end and was told nothing could be done since it was round end.
Approximate Date/Time: 2465-10-1

RDM had the medical module online and Amelia Dresden had asked him to fill someone's prescription. Then we got a call that the Intrepid came back and someone had some brain damage (59%) that couldn't be healed with Inaprovaline. Amelia and I told RDM multiple times to make Alkysine and stop making the prescription, but RDM refused to listen.

I have also been told that RDM will get upset when getting kicked out of the OR because they have a history of messing up surgeries.

In that specific case registered I have a hopefully valid reason for why RDM failed to see the request for alkisine.  The monitor I am using at the moment is old. Any screen I open up, in this case the chem master, chem dispenser, and other screens take up 3/4ths of my total screen.  Screen shot of what I mean below. https://imgur.com/Di5S4xq This combined with the fact that I was making 56 bicardine pills and 28 Syn-something pills meants that by the time I closed out of the chemical machines the round ended.

As to the getting grumpy at getting kicked out of the surgery room, I can only remeber one time that has ever happened(RDM showing any emmotion at all, it being a robot and incable of emotions most of the time), which was when a non critical patient was brought in while RDM was an antag and it showed a bit of spite at being told to leave it's patient before she saw how many bones were broken and asked it to fix the patients face and chest.  A side note to this. RDM's whole gimmik is that it's old and prone to breaking down. Me or it getting mad over people being weary about letting it opperate on people is counter productive.

I hope this explains things?

In the screenshot you showed, you could still see recent chats. We asked at least four times for the Alkysine and I think it would be unreasonable for you not to see a single one of the chats. You also walked away from the Chemmaster multiple times during the end of the round, which should've closed the Chemmaster and allowed you to see the chat fully.

Cyborgs don't auto close terminals. As you can see in the image I'm 3 tiles away from the machine and it's still open.  And that is an example. I had 4+ tabs open as well as going back and forth between the game and the chem guide for stema-somthing.

Okay. I can overlook the terminal stuff. I’ve done the same thing before.

what’s up with your cyborg getting upset over people doing surgeries first?

As to that part, I do not know what she is refering to.  I unless I am antaged (Which has been happening way too much recently) I play RDM the souless robot and only reply with understood, or noted.  Or if an order is absurd or overly complex an error code.  The one time RDM has been sour about being kicked out of a surgery room was when it was an antag and slowly trying to display it becoming sentient without getting murdered.  I brought a patient in when there was no surgeons and the physician decided to take over fixing the broken bones. I decided that this was a reasonable moment to have RDM display a bit of spite and gave the physician a glare before heading out of the OR, to be called back after she saw that there were 5 bones that needed fixing as well as the face.

Other than that one specific incident I have no idea what she could be refering too.  Though it might be attributed to people just putting emotions where there are none (It being the interenet and it's hard to display emotionlessness when people are primed to find any hint of emotion.)

Alright, I can understand that if you were antag cyborg with no laws you could show emotion. If you can agree to be more diligent about checking the chat, especially when playing medical, I'm happy to close this out. Since the radio chats are technically meant to be something that is listened to ICly, not read, it just doesn't make sense that a cyborg would miss what is being said. And Cyborgs have to follow the instructions that they are given (unless you are antagging or have ion laws or whatever).

So after a long time, (I hate school), I’ve decided to place a ban against Piston due to the sheer amount of warnings and notes already present.

additionally your synthetic play has been concerning. Locking and archiving this
