Reason for complaint: I received a warning for "not rping stealing the armory." I would like to understand how you intended me to RP this? Should I have announced it over general comms? I have since been informed by another admin that it is generally unacceptable to empty the armory as a first act of escalation, however this rule is not written anywhere and I am new to the server. You also threatened to banned me from antag roles, which is pretty off-putting considering I am still learning the ropes.

Additional remarks: I would like this removed from my record, and I don't think it's very professional to remark on the private administrative notes kept on my records. I am doing my best to learn how to be a good antagonist and this is definitely not the way to teach me or anyone.

Hi Lofiai, it is best to simply not steal the armoury as your first method of escalation it is considered bad antag play. The only reason you were not issued an antagonist ban is that I assumed you likely were not familiar with the armoury rules.  There generally has to be substantial in round escalation to steal the crew's method of defending themselves. 

As for part 2, the threat of being banned. I did not make this decision on my own, and conferred with another staff member who agreed with me this should be effectively your final warning for poor antagonist play. Your note represents this and representative that you should be more mindful in antag roles. 

I am sorry you disagree with my ruling, and of course if I am wrong I'll even offer my sincere apologies for it. In this case I do not believe it to be wrong, your antagonist play has been lacking for a while and your previous warnings represent this.

How is it possible that I have so many antagonist notes that would lead to me being banned if I am new to the server? This is only my second month playing here. Stop putting a bunch of notes in my file and communicate with me instead.

We will not be removing the warning or striking the note from your record.

You have a large amount of notes, yes. The notes are purely documentary when it comes to staff interactions with players.

You have been playing since 2020, this is an alternate account that you are playing on. So.

Our main rule for antagonists is - "The primary goal of antangonists is to DRIVE A STORY AND TO GENERATE INTERACTION. Be creative when coming up with objectives, and try to do things which will be fun for others, not only yourself. Do not resort to the bare minimums of generating a story through mechanical means, either. This means: no unmotivated/not roleplayed out mass murders, etcetera. See the rules below for further clarification."

From my understanding, you robbing the Armory without any prior escalation did not contribute to any set story or narrative that you had been trying to develop. If you had attacked someone, the alert raised to blue or red, or did anything to escalate the round? You would've been fine to rob the Armory. You do not need to announce it, and stealing from the Armory is okay to do, but it cannot be the first action that you take.
