Staff Complaint - Lmwevil

BYOND Key: notagonk (anthony.albanese on discord which i think is more applicable in this situation)
Staff BYOND Key: Lmwevil (squidqueen on the discord, which is more useful once again)
Game ID: On the main discord server.
Reason for complaint: Unfair issuing of a strike.
Evidence/logs/etc: For context, a reference to the succulent chinese meal guy was made, and i continued onto the reference by quoting one of the lines he says when he is being arrested.

The message in question;

The ping which caused the staff member to issue the strike;

And the messages which show the staff member was unaware this was a reference to a pretty well-known meme, not seriously talking about genitalia;

Additional remarks: I am making this complaint due to the fact I believe the comment I made did not warrant any warning, or break any rules, and that it sets a precedent that the two thousand times the word penis has been used in the server it warranted a warning, or was against the rules. I really just hope that the strike is removed, although I would like to take the chance to comment on the usage of strikes so casually. As a final note, I did ask the complainant if their ping to wevil was a serious issue with my behaviour for the purposes of the staff complaint, but they didn't respond.

To be clear, to someone who has absolutely 0 knowledge of that meme all it looked like to me who was pinged with that was that you drew a correlation towards a 'succulent chinese meal' as your dick. Being both sexual and racist. 

I'm impartial and totally fine with this being lifted by whoever inspects it if they think this is fine to be said on the discord.

After reviewing with Campin. It was a case of mistaken identity as Lmwevil pointed out above and the meme itself was harmless enough that we will overturn the strike. Still, would advise being cautious with memes and avoid those that reference NSFW material in general as we are not an 18+ server.

The strike will be removed, and I will close this complaint in 24 hours unless there is anything else.
