Overview of the Incident: 
During this shift I engaged in my regular work and in an expedition to a propellant depot with an engineer, from which I recovered some firearms. I was interested in receiving a bonus for these firearms and wished to discuss the matter with the captain. In effect I was hoping for 40cr, equal to 10% of the firearms value. They did not seem interested in taking any leadership of my department, and initially pushed the matter to the head of security instead. This was not a fruitful affair, as an officer has already informed me that the head of security was more interested in arresting me for possessing them, than rewarding me for claiming them for the SCC.

I discussed the matter with my fellow vaurca, as I felt it was an unfair and deeply demotivating situation when my own "departmental head" was not seriously opening up for listening to my arguments or discussing a general policy that I could follow to secure these bonuses. I later prodded them again, whether this was a financial issue for the SCC that caused it. I permitted me witnesses to listen on the channel via a stationbounced for this discussion, because I wished second opinions on whether the captain was dismissive or not.

This soon devolved into a mockery of my hopes and dreams by the captain, which they admitted to. They might have thought this light-hearted and fun, but I do not share that sentiment.

Desired action:
This is not about the lack of a bonus. This is about the lack of professionalism from a departmental head, which the captain is assumed to be. It is not unreasonable for me to properly discuss compensation options and ways to receive bonuses from my departmental head, but my experience was one of being dismissed and eventually mocked and demeaned.

And according to the captain themselves, it is their policy to mock other crewmen as well, for fun.

(OOC'ly: I am well aware this is likely a ridiculous IR, and I feel absolutely no ill will towards the other player ^^ I just hope it will be fun!)

My fellow vaurca agreed that this tone of speaking with me was demeaning in nature and unprofessional for a captain.
