Guest
While I've personally hated the Horse Mask wizard since the day I've seen it and advocated its removal, it's preferable to add things rather than remove them. So, I figured that making an option that recasting the spell at the person who already has it would remove it. This would turn something that has no direct purpose other than being a dick to something that can be used as a small leverage. Example: Wizard without the ability to remove: "You did something and now you'll be a deformed half-horse for the rest of the round, unless someone metas applying dangerous acid to your face!" Wizard with the ability to to remove: "You did something and now you'll be a deformed half-horse for the rest of the round unless you fix it!" Link to comment
Skull132
Honestly. I'm for this idea. We get to keep the silly thing, and we actually get to give the antag more options. *nodnod* Either make it a secondary effect of the same spell, or give them another spell if they buy the original. Killerhurtz
I say give them another spell if they take the original, because if we make it a side effect of that spell (UNLESS on casting we give them a choice box of either adding or removing masks), there's going to be side effects like a random stranger gaining the mask on removal. But yes - let's do this. Link to comment
Guest Menown
I honestly liked it better when it forced you to talk like a horse. Now, it's just a minor nuisance that has no real downside. Link to comment

I don't see why being forced to talk like a horse is a good thing, but regardless, the wizard can still claim it can't be removed. More options is always good. Link to comment

As it is now, you get a horse mask and go "oh, okay. I need to get this off." instead of dealing with not being able to communicate clearly through voice. I just always thought it was kek to hear sudden neighing over the radio too. Link to comment

SilverTalismen
Well in my times as Wizard, When I used this spell as my diona wizard, It was to punish rude people in a minor way [Haha Jade Rathel was in both rounds and she got it] and I would say they would have to do something for me to remove it, ofcourse when they did it and I said I couldn't ACTUALLY do it that's when they got angry edit: So yes to sum up my getting distracted, yes being able to remove the mask would be lovely Link to comment
jackfractal
Hmm... I wonder why the horse mask forcing horsetalk was removed. I always thought that was sort of the point of that spell. Link to comment

I'm fairly certain it's a bug; all the code is still in there but it (obviously) just doesn't work. Link to comment

Totally agree with MeowMoo , people dont care a shit about their horse face . It was much better before. Maybe not letting you speak is a bit too much... But what about if every 2 words you say you have to yell like a horse so its hard to understand you but possible. Link to comment

Killerhurtz
Swearing code? Are you referring to the unfortunate incident where... *some* (XP) AI turned on a censor filter that made Unathi sound positively hilarious? Link to comment
