Lady_of_Ravens Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 It's not like it's big and bulky and deserves to take up a whole space. It's not like there's a lot of extra room in the surgical theater. And it would make it a lot quicker to hook up blood to a patient if the stand could just be left by the surgical table without becoming a significant obstacle.
canon35 Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Yes,please. Can we also make it so you can walk around a 3x3 tile area if the IV drip without the needle falling out?
Guest Marlon Phoenix Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 oh my god please I hate them I've been trapped in patient rooms because I can't get past them
canon35 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 another idea. Be able to use a cord to hook up 2 people togather. Let the blood transfer to whoever gets the needle put into them second.
Skull132 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I have a counter-proposal to that, Canon. Give science the ability to upgrade the IV-drip to enable such a function.
Killerhurtz Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 DID SOMEONE SAY SCIENCE? I think I heard Science (I approve of Skull's idea. Two micro-manipulators, one surgical tube, one syringe later... BAM. Two-headed pump IV.)
Lady_of_Ravens Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 I have another idea to add to this... not really new-thread worthy, though. Make IV drips collapsible the same way as rolling beds, and stick a couple in medbay so we don't just have the one. Not actually that big of a deal, but it would be neat for stuff like blood drives and pumping blood into someone while they're waiting for surgery, or using the drips for something other than blood.
