When are you on Aurora?: Whenever I'm not at college or busy with college-related work, basically. It's a bit of an odd schedule: First two days of the week are usually full, so I'm only around in the evening. I can reliably pop on from 15:00 to 23:00 for most of the rest, however. I end up sticking about during dead hour pretty frequently, as well. I'm completely free every other weekend, and can be expected to show up for a good amount of hours.

Experience

How long have you played SS13?: It's been over three years by now, on and off.

How long have you played on Aurora: I believe it totals up to roughly two months.

How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I know enough to get by comfortably. I'm familiar with every department, though I confess that the finer aspects of the game - such as atmospherics, genetics and telecomms - do elude me.

Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: I'm partly familiar with the verbs themselves, as I assisted a group of friends with their tragically short-lived RP server project. Most of my actual moderation/administration experience comes from other roleplay platforms, however.

Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Never, and I intend to keep it that way. I miscalculated a brig timer once (I'm still only human), but I corrected that issue once it was brought to my attention.

Personality

Why do you play SS13?: I used to play it for the sake of the gameplay itself. Nowadays, I play it due to the roleplay environment it offers.

Why do you play on Aurora?: I play on Aurora because it's one of the few (if not the only) SS13 RP servers I've actually come to enjoy a great deal. I appreciate the community and the way things are handled here.

What do moderators do?: The way I see it, moderators aren't here just for the purpose of blindly enforcing a set list of rules. The duty of a moderator is to encourage appropriate player conduct while ensuring that each player connecting to the server, new or old, has an appropriate environment to roleplay in and someone to turn to for assistance whenever that may become necessary.

What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: Being a moderator here means fulfilling the obligations outlined above while being an example of good conduct for the average player.

Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to be a moderator for the sake of helping the community out. It's that simple.

What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I like to believe that I'm a very patient person, and have a good degree of common sense. I try my best to be polite and friendly in most situations. Most importantly, I believe that I'm a pretty reasonable person, which is a trait that I find to be a necessity for people in positions such as this one. I'm also annoyingly self conscious about most things, though I might not show it most of the time.

How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I'm generally pretty good at ignoring any insults/rage that might be tossed my way. I'm particularly used to stress from my days admining on certain other games, and I'm unlikely to do anything drastic or inappropriate due to it. Furthermore, I play security/command most of the time - being used to taking insults is practically mandatory in that field.

Anything Else You Want to Add:

I'm not much of a forum person, hence the terribly low post count.
