Should I make a darkly-humourous-though-semi-serious guide to captaining? I've noticed some glaring issues with other captains recently not under the names of Avery Dawkins, Vira De Santos, and Armando Elysium, to name a few.

Yes, if for no other reason than because you can never have enough guides.

Community input is always awesome, and so is helping people. If the community makes input via a means of helping people, all the better.

Time well spent is hardly time wasted, no?
