Either way, the situation was rectified, and those who instigated the revolt were detained.

I was just making it known.

Hello Alex Graves here,

Jim Calhoun is a well known Security Officer. I'd like to vouch for him to being a Head of Security. Sometimes, he has those anger issues of his, however can keep those to an acceptable level. The way he plays out his arrest and attitude tends to humor most of the Security even myself.

I can see other character's of Redfield potentially becoming Heads of Staff, but Calhoun is a sticky issue. He's frequently had these bizarre one-sided confrontations with Houssam seemingly sparked out of nowhere, and I've caught him gossiping or being super argumentative and rude. But I mean this sort of thing is the fucking norm on this station so that's not exactly a major issue.

I've still had him promoted to interim HoS periodically as Houssam (surprise) and the actual results are similarly mixed. I think it'd be best to support this application and see how Calhoun handles the job as a career.

I'd only suggest that the reasonable effort is made to have Calhoun adjust himself to a less... Confrontational attitude with Heads of Staff, even if they're disgusting catbeasts that he disagrees with.

That's true, he does not like Houssam, but hey, Jim's aware that he's got to play it safe as a Head.

Hey fam.

Jim's a cool dude, you're an even COOLER dude. But, Jim can be a little more than iffy sometimes. While I think Jim as a character would be good for trying to get into the rhythm, I don't believe he's that great. While he can certainly shine, and when he does he shines like a star, but he's not, 'friendly' enough. I think if you're going for a Command role, get used to dropping by departments, asking how they're doing them, telling them your name etc. etc. Firstly, it kind of gets you out there, and people generally tend to be more cooperative with you. Secondly, it kind of really helps you lay everything out, get appearances and a rough idea on their character. Also, try playing Detective, don't be afraid of asking Spider for help since he's rather active in that role. Because as the HoS you'll have to be doing some of the dirty investigation work yourself. Remember, it's better to can one perp for fourty minutes, and can a second one permanently. Give the antags this incentive to give you info. Also, don't be afraid to stick your neck out. People will appreciate you not being a cuck 78% of the time. But, other than that, Red's a pretty solid dude and he should totally be head +1.

I've played with Jim Calhoun a couple times, Hes Definitely a Character. I understand what other's are saying as far as does jim fit the "niche" role as a Staff member, I think Jim would shape up if he was put in a position as such. So Red get's my +1

Believe me, if you actually shadowed me for the past nine years, you'd see that I've had to do everything under the sun. Forgive me if I'm taking offense for seemingly out-of-the-blue reasons, but it's your patronizing tone that's pinging my neurons right now, especially in regards to my conduct towards civilians.

Yeah, Jim's not always the cuddly sort, but he's one of the more reasonable officers on the beat. I ask people how their days are, I'll observe calls and step in if diplomacy is needed, and even as Patrol, I still have to investigate crimes, especially when we're down a Detective, or issued an incompetent drunk. In fact, I've noticed that more and more emergency calls by the crew have been forwarded to my PDA, rather than called over the radio. The only thing that I can account to this rise in exclusive calls, is that people actually like dealing with Jim.
