Could a Skrell/Tarajan Be found adopted into a Human or other races' family and their last name be changed to match such

Yes but you're not allowed to make a character on it. We have enough "human" tajara who like to ignore lore to ERP.

Possibly, but I don't think a lot of people would be open to it. Plus, traditionalist unathi would probably dislike any that were raised by humans or xenos.

It could be, and those types of Tajaran are actually in the lore already. Cultural Subverses. But, you know, those kinds of people go to gulag. Also, Im pretty sure the only characters the lore team are allowed to disallow are the none type.

It's not hard to ask a bunch of tajara in game where they come from and realize almost every last one is a human neighborhood-raised phony who doesn't ACTUALLY know shit about the lore besides using third person and rolling your R's.

Everyone looked at him and said "What's wrong with being gay?" And that's when Arrkady knew the People's Republic he fought for had to serve as the bulwark against the Adhomai Liberation Army degeneracy.

Pretty much, most Tajarans on the station are human cultured. On the Skrell part, I have doubts Skrell would let one of the very few young they create every year be raised by untermensch humans, but I would get a more definitive answer from Loow.

If you ignore the lore and I'm convinced it's a whitelist issue then you can lose your whitelist and you lose that character. So yes, we can disallow characters if they fall under our species' review. I really dislike taking away whitelists and don't use this power all that often at all.

And what Hive said is on point. Subverting the standards of species' is something that is incredibly pervasive and we're toning it down.

So yes it's possible but it's not something that is reasonable to have pop up on the station.

The last time I read Tajara lore, they didn't care so much about individuals who were gay within their own species. It was odd, yes, but accepted.

Not anymore, Nebs. At the very least, homosexuality is not accepted within majority Tajaran culture whether you be for the Republic, the Kingdom or for the Rebellion.
