Bedshaped Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Please allow us to switch the common channel on or off on our headsets without turning the whole thing off. Sometimes I would really just like to listen to my own department and respond to calls from my own colleagues; especially when I'm working in non-emergency departments that don't need to be listening to common that often. There's loads of ways to get in contact with people that aren't common too: request console, PDA and snailmail are a few that come to mind... not to mention walking up to a person and talking to them. Also for dangerous situations, there's always the announcement system to warn people.
Carver Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I mean you /can/ just switch the frequency slightly and it does the same thing.
Mofo1995 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Going along the same lines as above, you can change the frequency slightly and have an entire conversation and no one will be any the wiser. Except the AI I think.
