SomeoneOutTher3 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 So,I was playing as the AI during a non-cult around, when a newcaster posted the following message over Nyx Daily: A crazed cult of Nar'sie has revealed themselves on Biesel earlier today. Public morale has been shaken due to certain high-profile individuals claiming allegiance to the cult before those involved could be brought to justice. The editor reminds all personnel that supernatural myths will not be tolerated on NanoTrasen facilities. Wew lads. I guess we can know about it now, lol. Quote

Synnono Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I saw that news event today too, but I'm pretty sure that Nar'Sie, along with changelings, the Spider Clan, the Space Wizard Federation and most Syndicate tech is still largely unknown to most NT Personnel. Can this new event be rewritten to be less about Nar'Sie, and more about crazy spooky cultists that no-one really understands? Quote
Mofo1995 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 So, on old code before the great code change of February 2016 , all news articles where the news articles you'd see in the galatic news database subforum here on the forums. This news article is not one of our news articles, and every single news article that gets posted throughout the round on the newscasters are Bay Station news articles. None of them are canon. They reference people who don't exist, ships that don't exist, and places that aren't in our lore. The Bay Station Server takes place in the Nyx system rather than Tau Ceti, and Nyx Daily is their news system, not ours. Ideally, our devs would bring back our actual news being posted on the newscasters instead of another server's news, since many of our news articles are well thought out and well writ. Quote
NebulaFlare Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 It's baycode news. Before we left Aurora Code, we had legitimate news articles that was in-line with our lore. Just gotta be patient while coders reconstruct stuff. In the meantime, that news isn't legit. Quote
