Will the recording be uploaded to youtube or other hosting website?

Indeed, though it'll take a bit to do the necessary editing for cuts of unnecessary content and so on.

I have part one uploading at the moment. Waiting for the final 5% to compress and process.

Part two will be uploaded thereafter.

I wonder what the turnout is going to be.

General rule of thumb is, 1 week of warning + new thread. Otherwise, people will not know. We'll see how accurate that is, though.

Yah, my mistake, we'll see how it goes as I had slightly forgotten while juggling some tasks this week.

I've been having computer troubles anyway, but hopefully there will not be any delays.

I'm gonna postpone this until further notice, I actually didn't give enough notice at first, so that's mostly the reason.

Two things. Firstly, an update on when the next meet will be. Next Saturday AND Sunday, the 24th and 25th, discussing station directives, dealing with antagonists and a multitude of other "free" topics that are off the normal agenda but will be discussed and clarified.

Secondly, as a general statement I'd like to say as a response to some "criticisms" that may be actual issues.

Firstly, do look at the title. The panel is OPEN for anyone to join in, participate and even listen. We're closing no one out. We seriously think critics should show up and voice concerns as appropriate, but not to heckle. We even schedule dates during the weekend so we can get the most possible participants to come into the chat and shoot the shit with other community members and discuss some RP related topics, to emphasize and exploit availability in spite of the school year. I don't really know how something can be made a "circlejerk" when it's just people attempting to understand what the regulations are from a non-hostile and neutral ground, where we all come together to discuss issues we've had with security in-game and how we can improve the current play of the department as a whole. Rather than, you know, the standard back and forth of forum conduct of getting nowhere.

I'm personally glad that a particular individual spoke up about this and made the most off-handed and obtuse comment that I've seen for awhile about it, who is now featured in my signature due to the absolute ludicrousness and vagueness of the statement. It is also insulting not only to me to be refusing to elaborate as to why he thought this, but I'd dare say to just about everyone else who attended the panel and effectively did not earn to hear of such ire or drivel about them. I've no actual idea what their real issue is, they insisted that their "right to free speech" was somehow a defense for saying something lacking in actual value or proving of anything, when he wasn't even there for the event to begin with. They didn't even watch the video either, yet somehow they managed to find a way to judge something without knowing a thing of what went on.

They then tried to pull the "people told me about it and it was BAD" excuse and yet he was unable to answer a single question of what it was about. I doubt these people actually exist, as apparently he thinks that you can convince people a problem exists if you appeal to a nonexistent "silent majority". It's dishonest, if this happened in the American election you'd never hear the end from Donald Trump about "DISHONEST" and "CROOKED", and in this case I am all for reposting those memes to make fun of the specific critic whose "issues" probably are nonexistent to begin with. Must be a really sorry life to have getting yourself upset over literally nothing of substance and declaring other people should be upset with it, too. I don't have any patience for people with a reputation for acting childish, self-destructive and their only contribution to the community is meaningless crapposting. I also have no intention of interacting with that person from a serious standpoint in the future, nor any intention to "work with" such an individual who is generally rude, crass and hostile by default. Amusing to see him fall back on his own sword in terms of "I'm getting offended" whenever he's losing ground in an argument, huh?

But I'll have a tiny bit of faith in that prospect of his argument, even if the premise of it is built on dishonesty and ignorance. I invite anyone who attended the event to bring me questions, concerns or criticisms either via PMs or in public replies to this thread. I will not embarass you if you bring certain issues you had with the hosted event to me. I will politely discuss them with you if you bring them up in an appropriate fashion. The critic in particular was a "special case", and even then, I may have handled it inappropriately. However, because it was a special case, it means that is the exception and not the norm I am prepared to respond to. More than likely in response to any feedback, we'll use suggestions or reports to improve the future progression of this OOC organized event.

I hope you all can be patient with me, the rest of the panel team and the multitude of invested participants who enjoyed the event. I admit that the way I handled the certain critic was not within line of my initial expectations, but I'll take responsibility for my words if I'm called to answer for myself. Unlike someone who insists they be exempt from it on the premise of "freeze peach."

Thank you, again, participants and those with actual feedback. This means a fair deal to me and I'm sure it means something to most of you for community members to be actively working to improve perceptions and attitudes towards the security department. Hope to see you this coming weekend. Do be well and safe. Cheers.

Wew lad. Might want to keep your tsundere will-they-wont-they romance out of the forums with Chaz, Delts. It makes you both look like sausages.

I should be able to make the Panel this time though studdly.

I will probably show up for at least part of it. I don't personally play security, so I doubt I will have the stamina to make it through a full hour and a half, though I definitely appreciate any effort to standardize security play a bit.

I do hope, however, that my criticisms fall within bounds for acceptable disagreement established by Delta, lest I become a special case to be publicly shamed. What a travesty that would be.

In all seriousness, though, I look forward to it. Good luck.

I didn't participate actively last time because I was sick and my attention was divided, but I'll probably be able to make it this time. Looking forward to it.
