Reason of Ban: Murdering an admitted Syndicate that attacked me on TCOMSAT, shouldn't have been on Tcommsat.

Reason for Appeal:

So, I think I'm pretty well known here, a lot of people hate me, a few people like me, others, tolerate me.

I recently took a 3ish to 2ish week break from here, because my life literally spiraled out of control, and I will admit, most of my misconduct as a Head of Staff happened during the buildup to this spiral.

Now that I am back, I have taken to playing my CMO, Mortimer Lore, and my Head of Personnel, Emma Godswood. I believe my previous conduct that led up to the ban, aka, not knowing how to show humility, expecting respect instead of earning it, and yelling at people a lot, has changed drastically.

I have learned that to get stuff done as a Head, you must not only be authoritative, you must also be approachable, friendly, and you MUST not try to intimidate crew (Aka, HoS walking around opening and closing his telebaton). A Head of Staff is there to resolve issues, ensure productivity, and supervise the staff, however, none of this is possible unless there is trust between the staff and their respective Head.

Now, the Captain is held highest in this regard, although he does not directly oversee one department, he directly oversees ALL departments, almost like God, they have the power to alter the happenings, but they don't/shouldn't unless absolutely necessary.

Staff should be able to look to the Captain when they can't look to the Heads.

I think I am ready to try and be this person, my CMO has become this person and I believe I am able to make a Captain who is just as good at doing it.

I hope that I can be given another chance to prove myself worthy of serving in this role.

If I were in your shoes at this very moment, If I was unjobbanned, I wouldn't immediately hop back into the saddle of Head of Staff. I would sit back, and only take it occasionally. Slowly work yourself back in, and when you are comfortable with normal heads, only then do you go for Captain.

I'm not jobanned from Heads, just Captain, I've been playing Heads of Staff for about four months now. I have become comfortable with the Heads and their roles. And know where each ones department ends and beings.

Hey Xander. I remember the incident pretty clearly, you weren't attacked, I was actually unarmed. I was in the room with turrets(Can't think of the exact name.) trying to break through after I had of course turned them off; though you turned them on and I was shot with quite a few lethal hits before you turned it to stun. When I got out, you didn't have anything more to say than I shouldn't be up there and left because there were threats to the station. A minute or so later of laying on the ground in paincrit I admitted to being syndicate over comms which wasn't even my choice, another syndicate had kinda blown that cover, to which you promptly returned and shot me to death while I lay on the ground unable to move; without saying another word. I believe I even tried to ICly speak to you but you just continued firing until I was far into critical condition. It's not like I dislike you or hold a grudge, just kinda was a bit of an annoyance, ruined my round since there was still quite a bit of rp to be had. Not to say I don't want this to be approved, just clearing up the situation.

Either way, people have bad days and such. I think you're a good rper from most of my interactions, if a bit abrasive sometimes, and mistakes happen. I'd support this unban, for what it's worth as just a normal player, it's been awhile and people just slip up here and there.

I'm sorry about this, but at the time with what was happening, you were dying infront of me after admitting to be a part of the armed nuke ops who were shooting people, and so, when I saw you nearly dead anyways, I thought it'd be better you put you out of your misery so you could respawn rather than drag you to medical where either I would get captured by ops or you would die on route of your wounds anyways. I'm sincerely sorry if this ruined your round, but I was dealing with a station being assaulted by guys with rifles with what I remember to be a small to non-existent security team.

As a note, if nobody is able to provide criticism, I'll take it as an assumption that Xander has actually done a better job playing head roles recently, and that all of you have no issues with him being unbanned from captain.

If the other was a HoS, it was most likely Carter Mason, as he's my only other HoS character

Right - this thread has been up for a reasonable amount of time, and at this point I feel like it's safe to assume anybody that had issues with Xander's recent behavior in head roles should have posted.

Since I haven't noticed anything bad myself (no news is good news, in this case), I am now granting an unban.
