LilSh4 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Basically, rather than a plant practically being one with the floor in mechanic's eyes, people and things pass behind(under, if we're in a 2d sense) the plant from the sides and tile above the sprite. From below, nothing passes passes through it. This will allow more places for hiding tiny objects, or if the plant is bigger than a person.. Hiding yourself. That's all my suggestion is, bye.
HackedGlass Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 +1 I think this is a very cool idea, security would have to double check all the plants to make sure people aren't hiding in them, but I like the idea.
Arrow768 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I remember one round on another server where I played nuke ops and we entered via the arrivals airlock. Was a bit slower to change from the space suit into a normal suit and got left behind by the other ops. They alerted me that the detective was on the way. So I hid myself behind the nearest pot plant and hoped that he wouldnt see me. Detective arrived and looked a bit around. He was standing a tile away from the pot plant and didnt see me. So that suggestion is definitely worth talking about.
Nanako Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 This doesn't really need much discussion or effort, its simply a matter of changing the layer on potted plants, about three characters worth of code to make them draw above mobs
