Conspire2Ignite Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 There are times when Engineers don't have anything to do. What do engineers do when there isn't anything to do? Replace chairs They mess with the Construction Area! This'll be a place to post pics of whatever you make out of the Construction Area during a round. Can't wait to see what you guys make! Check this one out! Quote
Conservatron Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I'll have to see if I have any pics of my hydroponics grow room I made one time. Also, I have a club I whipped up but its late and I'd have to dig for the picture I know I have Quote
Guest Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I've seen the Vacant Office used in a similar capacity. Quote
Guest Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Is that a butcher's knife and an energy crossbow?... Quote
Conspire2Ignite Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 That is a kitchen knife and a foam dart crossbow. ... We were reenacting Romeo and Juliet. Like the bored little engineers we were. Quote
Chaznoodles Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 A long time back, someone from LLA and I converted the Construction Area into a vigilante hideout, kitted out with cloning apparatus, computers and display cases. We caught and executed a traitor and put him and his gear in one of those cases. Later, Security busted in, and spaced me because they didn't have any cuffs. Quote

Conservatron Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Here are two things I've made in my time on Aurora Quote
Conspire2Ignite Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 I would just like point out how there is alcohol in both of your pictures. Quote
Conservatron Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 those rods on the floor in the first pic are because there's no vertical rod sprite Quote
Sentient Bowtie Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 More than once a (mostly unsuccessful) relaxation spot for engineers, and once a very shitty maze, all under the helpful hand of the book that tells you how to build stuff. Sorry, no pictures. Quote
Vanagandr Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Twin disposals cyclotron - inner ring clockwise, outer counterclockwise. The initial proof-of-concept used floor tiles, glass shards and all sorts of random crap I found lying around, but small objects don't reliably activate the chutes.. The mess in the middle is because of difficulties getting the lockers and crates into the stream. Imagine a constant disposals siren just quiet enough that you can't be quite sure if you're hearing something or not all the way to the bar. Incidentally, a flying locker to the groin does no damage at all. fix plz Quote
NebulaFlare Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Oh crud, I should have taken pictures of the stuff I've seen. Everything from a secret hideout, a new engine, wire art, a fighting cage, and an unfinished hangout for Unathi. Quote
spacevoidagent Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I have made smaller pipe contraptions. But I have always wanted to make a giant disposal pipe rollercoaster around the station. Maybe a personal, quick reaction tube for security or Medway would be cool. Quote
