Vizili was an acolyte for the Sk'akh church, and has had a lifelong career rising up the ranks. He was formally educated within the church, gaining a Masters in Sacred Theology and another degree in Secular Law, becoming a priest as well as a law enforcement official. When humans arrived on Moghes he adjusted his traditional ways (and went into formal human schooling) but he has never abandoned his roots. When the Maraziite Order was formed, he joined it eagerly and with zeal. He has since moved to Tau Ceti for better opportunities, but yet again, he holds onto his roots. The Poncho is the one he wore over his uniform while part of the inquisition, and he wears it to remind himself of his duties to protect the eternal souls of those around him as much as their mortal bodies. Item function(s): It's a poncho. It's worn over the suit with two pockets sown on the inside for internal storage for small items. Item description: A worn, grey poncho exclusively worn by members of the Maraziite Order. Item appearance: How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? The Maraziite Order has become a major aspect of the Unathi's reality off-station. It openly proclaims the wearer as a member of an inquisition accused of focusing more on oppressing religious minorities than protecting them. For Tha'kh Unathi it should be offensive to see someone brazenly walking around with it on. Other races may not particularly care, but nice if they do. The focus is on a subtle way of asserting the wearer's status in Hegemony society without having to openly declare it in really obtuse ways. Additional comments: I would love to see this as a custom item on the xeno loadout worth 2 points. ===================================================================== Item name: Iron Mask Why is your character carrying said item to work? This particular mask is worn to complete the look, in the process of his duties, to add to the aesthetic. Item function(s): It's worn in the mask slot. It cannot be hooked up to internals. It can provide superficial protection against damage to the head. Item description: A mask made of iron worn by members of the Maraziite Order. It can strike dread in the hearts of Unathi that don't toe the line of Sk'akh orthodoxy. Item appearance: How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? This is the same as the throw-over. It completes his uniform and identifies him as an official member of the Order - anyone can wear a poncho, but only the Maraziites get the masks. Its lack of internals mean it's not going to be worn all the time; nor should it be. It is best used during interrogations, investigations, or to remind particular Unathi that the Church is always present, so that they remain dutiful followers of Sk'akh's God. Additional comments: I would love to see this as a custom item on the xeno loadout worth 2 points. Together these items would make 4 points, which should be expensive enough.
Superiorform Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 As someone that was thinking of applying for unathi, and intent on making a Maraziite inquisitor type character, I'd love to see this in the custom loadout section.
