I was apparently a shitty warden the previous round in relation to dealing with antags, which is non cannon, which is a reason why prospekt would metagrudge me, and this round, when i was detective, I was investigating a certain situation related to a certain engineer breaking walls and hacking airlocks and such for the entire round, and I managed to get him to admit to his crimes and back himself into a corner with basic questioning, and recorded that discussion. I then brought it to the warden, giving him a transcript,which he promptly ignored until the incident i'm bringing up was over. I then found the engineer had followed me into security through maint, and then prospekt's character asked for evidence, I showed him the evidence, and before reading over it, he started insisting the taking down walls, hacking open airlocks, and breaking open an area plunging maintnence into a vacuum, were just harmless mistakes that the engineer shouldn't be brigged for those sorts of things. What the fuck? Then, after getting tired of my evidence, he crumpled up the transcript, and, because he took the recorder from me to get the transcript, and kept it for some reason, Deleted the evidence, and because Detectives can't make arrests, I held him up at gunpoint and made sure he didnt move for his tazer, which he did, which triggered shots being fired. He then ahelped it, which got me a permaban from security. He later complained about it in looc, discord, ect, where he harrased me, with phrases like "yeah make a player complaint go get laughed at son" and such. Now, He might just be a really salty antagonist at this point, defending his buddy, right? Completely wrong. I made sure that wasn't the case, I ghosted and antaghudded, and sure enough, he was not an antagonist, and he had no IC reason that round to do something like that in spite of me that round. Thus, It was either metagrudge, the most likely option, Griefing, or just generally being too stupid to play security. He makes no effort in defending himself at all either. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation?Not initially, because I was in the heat of the moment and wasn't sure he was metagaming, but after i realized he wasn't antag, I did. (Actually an admin banned you so blame him, kek) Second, this was not metagrudge at all. Just because you were a shitty warden and I played with you during two rounds and you managed to only interact with me during one of those rounds does not mean it's metagrudge and it just makes you look like you're coming up with a reason to complain. Third, I did read it, in fact that was the main reason why I crumpled it up and said it wasn't enough evidence. What you recorded was a bunch of questions to something we all already knew (we let him go for it). He messed up and cut open a wall he thought was blocking something off and really didn't think it would depressurize maintenance. He even went back and tried to fixing it before your little charade. You continued to ask if he was mentally stable after he continuously said "It was a mistake." He seemed new and just because he hacked a door open in maintenance doesn't really mean anything. He's an engineer, engineers tend to hack things to either fix doors or open them to gain entry to fix something. You really made it seem like YOU were out to get this guy. Onto the part after I cleared the memory (because I thought it was completely useless to have and you would've kept bothering people about it, I mean you even caps-locked in security comms for the head of security to see it and he ignored you) you took out your revolver and aimed it at me. I never even grabbed for my taser, I clicked on my belt forgetting that it would trigger you to shoot me. You shot me once, then you continued to open fire until the warden began shooting at you. That's when I finally took out my taser and opened fire. I was in crit at that point, all I planned was to subdue you but you never quit so I stomped you out a little bit and got a 15 minute brig sentence. So, I didn't even get away with it, in fact what you did gave me more shit. I honestly don't blame the warden for ignoring it, it was hardly any evidence and we let the engineer go on purpose otherwise a warrant would've already been made. No offense, but considering you want to throw jabs at me and say I'm too stupid for security. There's a reason why you're job banned, you can't even handle yourself. You obviously don't understand the rules nor regulations and you think it's okay to point around your revolver when you can't arrest someone; good riddance that you're job banned. Also, I'm entitled to say what I want in discord, at least until warned not to (which when I was I shut up about it and moved on). Unless an admin reponds, I have nothing else to say. I've said what I needed to and I'm going to wait for a verdict, but I don't understand how metagrudge comes into this other than you just trying to find a reason to make a valid complaint. Good luck.
ReynTheLord Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Yeah, a mistake, which lead to the crew's lives potentially being endangered. three times. I don't care if it's an accident, they were a full on engineer, not a rookie, they ICLY should be arrested for neglect of duty for that.
