If other, replace line and specify.)Overview of the Incident: Mr. Hoover arrived and immediately went to tech storage. He tried swiping his ID Card to get in, but was lacking the required access. After swiping the ID about 5 times, I commented that he doesnt have access and pointed him towards the direction of the engineering lobby. (At the time I assumed he was just not finding atmos) I left the area and shortly after heard him ordering the AI to open the Airlock. I immediately ordered the Ai to belay the order and headed back to tech storage. Once I have arrived I saw him pocketing various items from tech storage, including a flash. I ordered him to return the items since he does not have access to the area. He then claimed, that he is not trespassing or stealing items since the AI allowed him to access the area. I repeated my order to return the items. He still did not comply and mentioned that he was going to stay within tech storage, therefore I asked the HoS to send a security officer to search im for any additional contraband. As the officer arrived and opened the Airlock, Mr. Hoover immediately jumped the officer and tried to flash them. The officer then upprehended Mr. Hoover and took them to security. I contacted the HoP and the HoS and informed them that I wish Mr. Hoover to be demoted out of my department and faxed them the required paperwork for the demotion. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: HoS (Mark Syion), HoP Actions taken: Arrest, Demotion to Assistant Additional notes: Mr. Hoover went SSD before the Punishment could be carried out.
