Oh, well. Now our favourite nurse is ordering atmos voidsuits even if medical has two voidsuits, a rig and a ody.

When asked be the cmo why, she just said: "because we need it

Reporting Personnel: Alexander Adler

Rank of Reporting Personnel: Head of Personell

Game ID: bP9-dfyy

Personnel Involved:

- Amy Periwinkle, Paramedic (Offender)

- Dragan Grgurovicm, CMO (Witness)

- Alan Grimm, Warden (Witness)

Time of Incident: Aprox 1 hour into the shift

Real time: 01:00 GMT+1

Location of Incident: Medical Lobby, HoPs Desk

Nature of Incident:

[x]Workplace Hazard

[]Accident/Injury

[]Destruction of Property

[]Neglect of Duty

[]Harassment

[]Assault

[X]Misconduct

[X]Other Failure to Execute an Order

Overview of the Incident:

I was just walking by the medical lobby on my way to the cargo lobby when I saw Paramedic Periwinkle approaching the medbay lobby with a burning lighter.

At the time I didn't think much of it, but when she entered the lobby a fire erupted that engulfed almost the entire medbay lobby.

Only due to a small wonder Periwinkle made it out without catching fire.

Once it burned off, she made a comment that "now that the toxin is burned off she can return to work".

I asked why she did not call engineering to deal with the toxin and she just mentioned: "that would have taken too long".

I reported this incident to the CMO, who mentioned there were other complaints about her conduct and that we would approve a demotion.

It should be noted that Periwinkle ordered atmospheric voidsuits earlier at cargo without consulting with the CMO.

Medical at the time had 2 medical voidsuits, a rig for the paramedic and a odyseus mech.

When questioned by the CMO why atmos voidsuits are required she replied "because we need them".

I have received the demotion paperwork and proceeded to the brig to hand it to her and carry out the demotion.

The CMO has requested a early release pending her demotion and the HoS/Warden have complied with the request.

Periwinkle and myself headed to my office where I carried out the demotion to Assistant.

After handing her the ID back, I asked her to turn in all the medical gear.

To which she commented "no, screw you. Come and catch me."

I alerted the HoS, that Periwinkle needs to be arrested yet again.

She was found on the transfer shuttle, where two officers approached her and asked her to come along peacefully.

Periwinkle attempted to flee out of the shuttle, but was quickly detained by the officers present.

Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: CMO

Actions taken:

Demotion Paperwork has been filed. Periwinkle fled before the demotion could be carried out fully.

Additional notes:

I am baffled, how a medical professional could just walk into a room filled with phoron to set fire to it in an attempt to burn it off instead of calling for engineering.

It should be noted that there were 6 Engineers, 2 Atmos Techs and 2 Engineering Apprentices on station during that shift, so we had a fully staffed engineering department that could have taken care of any issue.

Their actions have not only endangered themselves, but every one else present.

There were multiple people at the time, some of them attempting to enter medical as she set fire in there.

We were very lucky that the phoron did not spread to the main hallway, or we would have had a widespread phoron fire to the station.

Again, her actions not only endangered herself, but everyone present in the main hallway at the time.

I do not feel comfortable having such a reckless individual employed to take care of the health of the station personnel.

When is she going to take next short-cut ?

And will it result in the loss of life ?

Following the conclusion of the player complaint against Biabri/Amy Periwinkle, this Incident Report is being closed. We don't double down on IC and OOC action, and the player has received a departmental ban from medical for the type of behavior detailed in this report. Should they continue to act in a similar fashion in the future, you may file another Incident Report which will not be affected by this resolution.
