Security loadout limits

If the Head of Security AND Captain don't care about it, it seems extremely poor taste to jump rank. The other officer is right - they are under no obligation to listen to you. Even a Warden is unable to give orders to officers about what to wear.

Even if this was implemented, you'd still have people wearing non-regulation uniforms that they find and acquire. So what you'd have to do is....... Complain to your supervisor, which you do already.

This is also already ostensibly covered by regulations. 'Regulation uniforms' are probably not sundresses and the like. Tactical jumpsuits are so similar to black jumpsuits (and in addition to the clear security equipment on the individual) that anything crazy being worn is able to be covered by Command.

If someone tries to lawyer their way into wearing a sun dress because nothing is specifically mentioned, just file an IR.

I think the original intent of the suggestion is lost now. At this point I am wanting to suggest more fluid administration of the uniform infraction policing by allowing Officers to apply the charge without the need of a superior's blessing. I don't see why this specific should be treated any differently than other minor infractions. It seems a bit odd that I would have to go through my superiors to handle my coworker's failure to adhear the regulations.

But anyways. I retract this suggestion, concerning loadout restrictions or whatever unless there are objectors. But I stand by a rework of the current system in place foe handling uniform violations.

You are right - it IS a violation of a CCIA notice. But in this case it's up to Command and IAA to handle it if my interpretation of the CCIA notices is right.
