The AI could locate him in the tcoms storage area where he was being fired upon by lethal turrets. The AI could not disable the turrets or set them to stun as the turret control is firewalled. Therefore I made my way there to unlock the turrets and retrive Mr. Prestoff. At the time we assumed that Mr. Prestoff somehow managed to infiltrate tcoms for unknown reasons. Myself, Officer Al-Azir and Detective Armstrong entered tcoms to retrieve Mr. Prestoff. Moments after we arrived in the area a lab assistant appeared in the tcoms storage area. As we inquired what they were doing here they disappered. That was when it become clear that telescience was involved. I headed there and found the lab assistant and another scientist in the lab. When questioned who teleported the Shaft Miner into the area none of them spoke up at first. Eventually it became clear that Scientist Wilkinson teleported the shaft miner into the area for acquiring materials for research. I explained to them that it is extremely irresponsible to teleport someone into a unknown area without first verifying that the area is safe for a person to be in. In addition that teleporting personel into restricted areas is considered infiltration. They failed to understand that and only mentioned that they need these items for research and that the turrets killed the miner and they are not responsible for that. As they failed to ensure the safety of the personell involved in their experiment, they have been charged with manslaugther. In the hopes of them understanding the situation and performing further research responsibly the charges of infiltration and theft have been dropped. In addition the infiltration charge for the research assistant they teleported in afterwards have also been dropped as its the responsibility of the scientist operating the telepad to ensure the personell involved in the experient does not end up in a restricted area. RD Birkin arrived while Scientist Wilkinson was still serving her sentence for manslaugther. I informed him of the incident and requested that he either files a injunction to restrict her access to telescience or suspends her. The research director decided to go for suspension as Scientist Wilkinson threatened him and stole a hand teleporter. The RD handed me the scientists ID and the required suspension paperwork (which I accidently destroyed, assuming the slot in my console is a scanner. But unfortunately it was the slot to replanish the paper of the printer) Despite this Issue the suspension has been carried out, but I was unable to locate the Scientist. After about 20 minutes the RD alerted me to their presence in research. So I headed there to return their ID to them and have security detain them for theft (the stolen hand teleporter). They were again extremely dismissive and failed to recognize that they were not authorized to setup a security camera console they built and take various circut boards. As Security Officer Silva arrived to detain them and search them for additional contraband they teleported away and sparked a manhunt. When asked to turn herself in she just mentioned that "she teleported herself to a holiday resort" As the RD mentioned that the Telescience research was unauthrized her response was that "the RDs face is a unauthorized experiment" To prevent further misuse of the telescience lab, the RD was force to dismantle it. Scientist Wilkinson could not be located during the remainder of the shift. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? Witness testimony and evidence gathered by this office has brought us to seek permanent termination of Ms. Wilkinson. Evidence to the overwhelming majority suggests, and affirms, the crimes of Ms. Wilkinson: Manslaughter of a crewmember (Preston Prestoff, cloned), multiple counts of Infiltration, multiple counts of Resisting Arrest, one account of Kidnapping, misuse of company resources, and an attitude unbecoming of an individual expected to act within a cooperative environment among professionals. We at NanoTrasen have always believed in second chances. However, Ms Wilkinson's flagrant disregard for our most basic protocols, procedures, and the laws of the Federal Republic of Biesel which the NSS Aurora and NanoTrasen as a whole resides within has assured that her employment with the NanoTrasen Corporation cannot be continued. Similarly, this office will and has begun to forward relevant evidence, testimonies, and reports to necessary Federal Republic of Biesel agencies, to pursue the arrest and charging of Ms Wilkinson, for the following accounts of Manslaughter, and Kidnapping. It is unfortunate that in our new year of 2460 that such a heinous activity has been brought to occur, NanoTrasen reaffirms that it is dedicated to lawful behavior, and our installations are no different from the civil society under the watchful eyes of the Republic's security services.
