Fortport Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 As the title says. If you're wearing a polo, you should be able to stick your ID on it. This way I do not have to wear a uniform necessarily to have it on my person when I reasonably should be able to stick it on my shirt. I don't know about you, but I see plenty of things to stick my ID on here. And I'm not breaking the dress code. ID wearing is limited to uniforms, however. Just let us have an ID slot, always. That or scrap the hard requirement for ID wearing at all times for certain roles? I don't know. Like visitors.
Butterrobber202 Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Wear a form of pants, polo undershirt, and bam you’re done

MO_oNyMan Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Since the closed science station gimmick is being enforced i see why people would be required to have ids visible all the time. Wearing an id on your undershirt gets it covered by the overcoat (and most roles wear overcoats in one way or another). Moreover an ID slot is exactly that, a slot dedicated to wearing IDs specifically. The sprite makes it look like you're wearing it on your belt but it can be anywhere really. That being said, maybe allowing ID wearing style to be adjusted to be worn over the overcoat would be the solution to people who want to wear ids on their shirts (?) Or move away from the closed research station gimmick to *cough* colony station gimmick *cough* to allow for more flexible uniform and identification standards among many other cool things (?)

Even at Walmart, I was required to have my company ID on at all times and any visitors or contractors had IDs they needed to wear too. It's common and simple practice.
Butterrobber202 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Snip Go play Polaris, that niche is already filled. Anyways, yeah the ID is a "hey I belong here badge" and should be visible at all times, I’m ok with this being added.

Customers didn't have to wear an ID? If you don't work there, I mean.

Your mom owed me something last night. This suggestion is for wearing your ID without a uniform, primarily. I was brainstorming. This is not a retail store, yadayada. Let me wear it on my nipple TECHNICALLY so I can have it on my POLO SHIRT.
