Staff BYOND Key: pratepresidenten

Game ID: I'm sorry. I don't know the Game ID, as the warning was issued a month ago.

Reason for complaint: I was checking my warnings because I saw the "My Warnings" button in the OOC tab. I thought I wouldn't find anything, but I apparently have a warn from the 11/2/2018.

I did not break this rule, however. My brother did, on his Byond account tehflamintaco. It seems to have been an IP warn. I don't even know how to do this exploit (or most exploits for that matter.)

Evidence/logs/etc: To confirm what I'm saying, Teh Flamin' Taco will be posting in this thread his side of what happened.

Additional remarks: I know this is just a misunderstanding and I don't actually want to complain about the staff member. I just want the warning removed so I'm back to good boy status. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

As Teh Flamin' Taco, Nacho's Brother, I can confirm this warning was for actions I did, and was assigned to my account, but also my IP. It has previously been acknowledged that both me and my brother play here, and we should not be considered the same person.

As far as I'm aware, you don't get to pick if a warning is IP based or not. Accounts on the same network more often than not share the notes. The proper course of action here is to inform the safe team that you two are under the same network, that way neither of you are judged for what the other has done.

The warning won't be removed, it's instead been quoted to belong to the other account in the text itself. In our menu it doesn't put your ckey as the recipient so you're fine. Just make sure to clarify your relation with the other account if any issues arise in the future.
