I can say that after a long time for working with EJ while in game, that I can confidently downvote upvote this app. As a character she shows grit and the willingness to succeed and do so with means that do not harm the individual, and as a person she provides a friendly opinion and overall good personality.

Waitaminute.. is this a big reference to Futurama? You know cuz.. mice.. were replaced.. with owls. Anyway, yea it might be nice to have one or two around hooting it up but after the 30th owl manages to make its way into the maintenance tunnels you have to ask if the station is being kept clean at all...

As a person who played for quite a few hours on this game I can tell you that rightfully. I have no pants on head wearing, steam ship driving, cannibalistic crew eating clue what in the hell is going on. It seems to have a problem with you GETTING anywhere, I mean sure if you whore yourself out for long enough you get a bigger ship and such and if you're lucky you can trade crew members for.. stories I assume. I don't know, I like the roguelike prospector because through trade and piracy I was able to make a decent living and buy an earth like planet to retire on. In sunless sea all my money just got me 5 extra minutes of survival before I went adrift in the sea and ate my crew.

Erm, that is true, what say we attempt to refine it all? Mutiny rounds objectives collect disembodied private parts and fire them out of an air canon (they blow.) And the end game to this turns what would be a culture for beautiful RP to sprout into several single player games mashed together so that one team fights for the end goal regardless of the human variable. Solutions: Fix the cocking objectives for the round and get rid of that damn end game system that congratulates the biggest assholes on each team.

I'd have to agree with Delta here, the entire game mode seems to be: Head Loyalist? Be an oppressive asshole. Mutineer? Oppress the oppressive assholes till you manage to out oppress them. Not to say that it can't be handled well, as I recall there was the round where a certain head of staff that tried to defy orders and ended up getting shot for their troubles, again it seems like a rat race. And there have been many rounds where the head loyalist spends the entire time fucking around for their objective only to say, "Objective complete, all these people are re-hired and their accounts are fixed." Or some such. I do support Deltas' idea though, a random chance of it being either a fluke report or a real one, instead of this rat race system that is entailed. Seeing as how currently the game becomes, "Who can be the biggest dick and win" which, frankly, doesn't sound very fun even on paper. It seems a lot more fun if the character has to say, "This is wrong/right and I know because I'm being told so/I feel it is. Lets just hope my feeling is correct." There is beautiful fun in the unknown, as long as its handled well.

Yeeaa and at this point, I hate to be a downer here but.. again.. I see no issues getting solved besides people needing to vent about.. two or three issues not related. Anyway, solution? Compile your shit into one big pile, then post it and everyone can understand the shit you're angry about. It'd be much easier and clearer if people didn't have to read through 11 pages of screaming at each other mixed in with some actually valid debate points.

I just came here to play 2d spessmen games and hang out with two people, and I'm honestly just feeling so apathetic right now. It seems to be that this issue was resolved, all be it poorly and who knows there may have been personal bias. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not suggesting we all find a date to meet up, drink tea, hold hands and sing kumbaya all day. Though its getting a bit ridiculous, the entire thread seems to be, "I know people are calming down, lets just grab a hold of that scab forming over and tear it right off." Seeing as how there is no reason to debate anymore.. and in fact people have said that they do not know what the end game will be, aren't we all just giving a textbook definition of insanity? None the less, how about those who have an issue try this, and I'm being serious here. Take a moment to compile ALL of your issues and thoughts and what you want done about them, create an end game for your debate, THEN start one. And, well, no offence but when someone says, "I've stopped trying to fix things now" then why bother creating the thread? Long story short the debate seems to be several small points, some good, some bad, not organized. But if the individuals involved were to compile it into something that clearly stated out the issues, maybe it would gain more leeway, instead of just hanging onto whatever issue is currently at hand and trying to milk it for all its debating glory. TL:DR, the scab of an issue has been torn free again and there seems to be no bandage ready from either side to help cover it back up.. if you'll pardon the metaphor.

Not to be sadistic but if folks would like to play The Ship, I'd be totally interested. Beating my fellow players to death with umbrellas and frying pans sounds like a great way to spend the vacation.

From what I understand and have seen, a very good role player with a sense of reality to his actions that is difficult to see in many situations considering the situations are characters are in. None the less, good player.

Well true, I somewhat did not wish to touch on the intermittent parts of the thread as they were..well.. a bit off topic frankly. But, let me put it in short. If you judge an entire department of wide ranging people with a vastly and quickly changing array of individual personalities and ideas on a very rigid selection of laws. Well then we end up making this thread a thousand pages long over who in engineering or security has sinned the most. And, well, that doesn't solve jack. -EDIT- Well, I wouldn't say tons. Most of the thread at the moment is an argument about which of security and engineering is the biggest sinner. Oh, sorry, when I said tons of evidence I mean, we've all seen and many of us have stated that there are many, many rounds where engineering does not arm themselves up as much as is stated, and in comparison there has been little evidence to support, "Engineers arming themselves at the rounds start"

Yes as I recall they exist as some type of spawning grenade, from my days in searching the item list there used to be like, alpha carp spawners and regular spawner grenades. Would be very cool to be walking down a hallway and suddenly CARP. Rather than watch them tear through glass walls outside the station.
