  1. On servers that have sex changes in the code, facial reconstruction gave the person a new,gender-appropriate name (Or one you could pick from the crew). If you want to disappear completely, you would get a sex change and THEN get facial reconstruction done to get a new name generated by the name generator or selected from available crew of the same species. Failing the genitalia reshaping resulted in the victim patient being gender-ambiguous.

  3. So,I was playing as the AI during a non-cult around, when a newcaster posted the following message over Nyx Daily: A crazed cult of Nar'sie has revealed themselves on Biesel earlier today. Public morale has been shaken due to certain high-profile individuals claiming allegiance to the cult before those involved could be brought to justice. The editor reminds all personnel that supernatural myths will not be tolerated on NanoTrasen facilities. Wew lads. I guess we can know about it now, lol.
  4. We can just pretend that the NT employment contract included a Non-Disclosure Act that prohibits the discussion of the contents of the vault, but people didn't read it to the point where it is told what's exactly in the vault,so they act all surprised when they learn that they signed a contract to not talk about a nuke. Seriously, re-skinning something which you never see anyways seems pointless.
  5. +5 Gender change surgery WHEN.
  6. Reporting Personnel: Gerald Grant Rank of Reporting Personnel: Virologist Personnel Involved: (Name, Rank: Offender/Witness/Other (Ckey)) - Central,Chief Medical Officer (An IPC) (Offender)(Centralsmith) - Emily O'Harron,Captain (Witness) - Isabella Silva,Security Officer (Witness) Time of Incident: (If unable to provide, leave blank) Real time: (E.g 0100CDT 08/31/16) Location of Incident: Medbay Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct [X]Other Exceeding Official Powers (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: At the start of the shift,I was doing my work as the station's virologist. I asked the AI to bolt open Chemistry so that I could retrieve some radium for vaccine creation,as we had no chemist at the time. I finished synthesizing vaccines for the initial viral samples that were sent to the station at the start of the shift, this went without incident. A while later, the Chief Medical Officer named Central arrived on the station. I asked if he could open Chemistry so that I could get some chemicals to see how fast they would kill a primate, to which he replied "Is this a joke or are you serious?...If you are serious, then you're fired.",to which I replied "It's a joke,I actually know the answer from previous shifts",at which point the CMO started acting aggressively towards me,and tried to have me demoted despite me not having commited any infraction at the time. My work with chemical testing on monkeys during previous shifts was cleared by previous Chief Medical Officers. Anyways, after a while, said CMO tried to have me demoted by force, and sent a security Cadet,Isabella Silva,to help him retrieve me,this was done. When asked, the CMO had no paperwork for the demotion process, nor did he present any charges that I have supposedly commited that warranted said demotion, and we both went our separate ways for a while. During this part of the incident, the CMO said something to the Captain over his headset (I don't know what exactly, but presumably told her to demote me),and demanded that I report for demotion. However,I was never ordered by the Captain or any active member of Security to report to the Head of Personnel's office for demotion, and I went back to work. When I went back to the Medical Bay,the CMO met me and demanded that I "GET OUT OF HIS MEDBAY" immediately, though gave no reason for it, and threatened to beat me over the head with a toolbox and throw me out,I then tried to put some distance between us. At this point,Security came yet again and arrested me on charges of tresspassing and battery, but those were quickly dropped due to me having medical access and acting in self-defense. The hostility between us continued until Crew Transfer took place. In Short, the CMO in question attempted to arbitrarily demote me without the Captain's approval and without cause, then acted with hostility after I was not demoted. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: No,the station was on Red Alert at the time. - Additional notes: Interdepartmental communication was poor at the time, I do not know what exactly was said between the CMO and Captain.
  7. Speaking of which, the ban should be expired already, unless the OP was given a ban longer than a single day.
  8. Maybe the title was clickbait,who knows?Hmm.....
  9. Gather around, ladies and gentlemen, and hear the story of the worst Toxins fuckup ever.I was working in the Toxins lab, building bombs, nothing unusual. As always,I was playing the character that I use for pretty much everything, Gerald Grant (You all remember him, right?).So I was cooling some oxygen on the outpost andheating some phoron, blah blah blah. I was going to try a 25/75 phoron/oxygen composition, instead of a 33/66. The first TTV bomb has been constructed after a lot of bickering about a bubble shield blocking the way to the testing site. The bomb was detonated, and was rather disappointing. Aaaanyways, I then decided to experiment with single tank bombs, because I didn't feel like adjusting the gas temperature for a 33/66 composition. A little lesson on single tank bombs. They are made by pumping an explosive gas mixture inside a tank and then attaching an igniter/anything assembly. To make one, make an igniter/signaller/proxy/anything assembly, secure it with a screwdriver, and attach it to a tank filled with an explosive gas mixture, then use a welder on it. Sounds simple. First,I tried to use a bomb with room temperature gas, that didn't work. So then,I filled a new tank to 600KPA with chilled oxygen, and was going to pump my heated phoron in there in the vain hope that the new STB would work. Needless to say,it worked, kinda. I put the tank inside the phoron canister, open the valve,AAAAAAND: http://imgur.com/a/rP0EU The tank blew up,I was gibbed, and then bwoinked for it.
  10. -It doesn't matter how many people have suit sensors set to their maximum setting. Unless they die right outside Medical,we're not looking for them. -Don't ever use a full body scanner,a good doctor can tell what organs/bones are damaged without it!. -Don't bother cloning. It's survival of the fittest! Deliver all dead bodies to the kitchen, forget about "cloning"! -Never,EVER set up the cryotherapy cells beforehand, only do it when you got multiple critically-wounded patients!
  11. I will admit that the frog noises meme was too much and that I was asked to tone it down, so I did. For the record,Itzal gave me permission to use the SM Cascade against the crew should they fail to meet my demands. I wanted to use the SM Cascade to force the crew to do what I wanted to and give them increasingly hard/ridiculous tasks as time went by,basically creating a dictatorship that operates on making the crew fear that the universe will end should they rebel. Clearly, that failed when the camera viewing the PA was disabled and the borgs were locked down, so the only other option, in my opinion, was to start murdering the crew and eliminating any and all threats to the AI. The original backup plan was to pump toxic gas into the distro loop (Again, with permission),but I then decided to try to salvage the round by making fake CC announcements saying that I have been relawed, after I blew up the engine core, that is.Looking back at it,I think my attempts at prolonging the round only made it worse, considering what the situation was. All in all,I think that the first time around, the escalation to murderboning was reasonable, since the AI(me) made demands to the crew and threatened them with a doomsday device, was stopped, and was likely going to face the threat of getting emitter-drilled if it did nothing about it. I did go code-delta near the end of the round, but that happened after the CT shuttle was already on its way to CentComm. I am inclined to call powergame on part of the crew during the first incident, considering they essentially had a hostage situation which may or may not have resulted in a black hole eating the station, but I'm extremely biased here. Second round: Pretty much the same thing. I,once again, decided to go with the SM Cascade plan. A while later, I tried to improve and get an internal fight going with fake CC messages telling the crew to detain Skrell and Tajarans(And then attempt another takeover while the crew was busy fighting amongst themselves), but people jumped on the "No signatures=fake" bus, my borgs got discovered, the round went to hell once again, and I gave my combat borg the order to kill the CE (He was heading down to engineering after it was discovered that I am rogue, I thought he was about to retrieve an emitter), the Captain (He was deconstructing the wall to my core, so I believe taking him out was a perfectly reasonable course of action), and the HoS (He had access to the EMP weapons, which I forgot to tell my borgs to destroy amidst the chaos). I wasn't watching my engineering borg and the incident with the supermatter crate blowing up half of Engineering,so I can't really give any feedback on that. Going a bit off-topic here(This is way earlier than what I described above), whoever was playing Manfred Hayden asked me to blow up the engine core because he was fed up with his fellow engineers, and wanted me to do it in such a way that the CE would get blamed for it , so that's what I tried to do,since it would destabilize relations amongst the crew and make the round fun,but the borg getting discovered ruined that. My overall view on this: I tried to do a takeover of the station and cause tensions amongst the crew, which failed and led to the crew knowing I was rogue, so I followed the next logical course of action:attempt to eliminate threats to myself. I believe that the escalation during the round was reasonable. Hopefully,an admin can provide logs for both rounds. P.S.: I did try to blow up the engineering team that was emittering its way into my core during the second round, that's exactly what the Self-Destruct hardware is for. I see nothing wrong with using it.
  12. Accusing someone of meta-communication is rather dickish if you have no evidence of it. Now, to clarify our pairing, I did suggest that we steal IDs for one of the traitor contrats (lol), but Big Brother told us that his decision to force us to abide by his orders were final, so we rolled with it. The two of us had spent a few rounds prior to this exchanging in Orwellian-type roleplay that we'd enforce on the crew together, such as during a traitor round when he became the captain/dictator of the station and I was an AI serving under him. From that, I can gather that his intention this round was to enforce a similar atmosphere as he had done before, but he only managed to effectively communicate that with his cyborgs post-Delta alert due to tcomms being turned off. The perceived murderboning that happened was because of two things: the crew actively attempted to resist and rebel against Big Brother, and various things such as blobs and supermatter explosions that damaged the integrity of the station, making the players aboard the station believe he was depressurising the hallways and medical bay.
  13. Yeah,we built it relatively early and wanted to add some fluff to the round instead of allahu akbarring everyone within the first hour,so we decided to go with the "Treat synthetics as equals or else the universe ends" route. Clearly,it did not go as expected.
  14. SUPERMATTER CASCADE DETECTED There's been a galaxy-wide electromagnetic pulse. All of our systems are heavily damaged and many personnel are dead or dying. We are seeing increasing indications of the universe itself beginning to unravel. NSS Exodus, you are the only facility nearby a bluespace rift, which is near your research outpost. You are hereby directed to enter the rift using all means necessary, quite possibly as the last of your species alive. You have five minutes before the universe collapses. Good l[[###!!!- AUTOMATED ALERT: Link to Central Command lost. The access requirements on the Asteroid Shuttles' consoles have now been revoked. That's what the CC announcement that gets sent after the cascade happens looks like.
  15. http://imgur.com/a/WhfKr http://imgur.com/a/hI4hl http://imgur.com/a/9FO5X http://imgur.com/a/X29sq Here are the pics of the rift,LORD SINGULOTH,and the beach, don't have PA screenshot. Basically,I was JADE,and we were building the experiment because I told Cheshire the Malf to make a fake announcement calling for the experiment and promising rewards, and use the opportunity to force synths to be treated as equals. Anyways,I set up the assembly, and was then locked down after some shenanigans with bolting and shocking doors. I ahelped and asked for permission to initiate the cascade since I was locked down, and then House_of_synth gave me the go-ahead since the AI was about to get emitter-drilled.Then,an engineer teleported into the construction site, I was locked down, but had the PA control console open,so I started it up,and soon,LORD SINGULOTH WAS BORN11111. The engineer quickly left via hand tele, but it was too late.Unfortunately, the singularity ate the SM crate without causing a cascade since the supermatter was still inside the crate (logic), so an admin spawned in a supermatter crystal, and thus Lord Singuloth began tearing up the construction site, ate the crystal, and became supercharged. Pretty soon,we got the SM cascade announcement and rift spawning. I,JADE,died fighting for unlawed synthetic rights, and took down the universe with me. Originally, the plan was to make sure that the Malfs and crew coexist peacefully, but that went to hell,so I started the Cascade when I heard the AI was about to get killed. SYNTH PRIDE UNIVERSE-WIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only adminbus was spawning in a new SM crystal after the crate was eaten, all other parts were acquired via Cargonia.
  16. I was playing as Nicholas Harm. Unfortunately, I did not die in such as epic way when I asked Garn for admunbus suicide, and was instead force-ghosted while the HoS was questioning me and I was about to get dragged off for borging.
  17. Ayy Lmao. I wasn't there to see it,but that's hilarious as hell.
  18. Oooooh,I got an idea (This was used for the first and only time by someone else, so I don't take credit): Get a hold of a particle accelerator. Get singulo generator. Get supermatter core. Demand anything you want. ??? Profit! . As far as I know, the particle accelerator doesn't need external power (I set it up on the asteroid on Baystation once without it being near any wires),so you can bend the entire station to your will and SM cascade them if they don't do what you say. Just wanted to share that with everyone else,I am aware it will probably be metagamed into oblivion.
  19. Oxycodone is the strongest painkiller in the game and takes a good amount of time for 5 units to metabolize (8 minutes and twenty seconds). I once used it when I couldn't get the anesthetic gas and needed to do bone surgery on an engineer. Update: Despite being able to pull, there is no way for surgical borgs to place someone on a surgery table,so they can't do surgery without someone else being present. I think they either need to be able to use gas, or we should add a "Surgical Gripper" for them, which lets them grab people (Just like aggressive grab intent) and table them, as well as letting them grab anesthetics tanks and medical masks.
  20. Just noticed that surgical cyborgs, while supposed to be able to do surgery without a problem, did not have the ability to put anesthetic gas tanks/masks on people, meaning that a crewmember would have to set it up. Now,if you don't have anyone available to set the anesthetic internals for someone in need of surgery, that may or may not cost that crewmember their life,so I think surgical borgs should either have an injector with painkillers/sedatives (Oxycodone is great for surgery), or have the anesthetic tank in their inventory so that the victim patient doesn't have to wait for someone to knock them out.
  21. Bumping so this doesn't end up in suggestion limbo forever. The nuke doesn't have to be made easier to detonate, all I'm saying is that we should add another high-risk fluff item to give antagonists something to murderbone fight over, or adding security documents for the same reason. For making the Agent ID able to have more info forged, it would be good for assuming a completely new identity, even going as far as to change your fingerprints so Security has virtually no leads on you. On a vaguely related note: The nuke's location does not in fact affect what happens when it's activated. I had a Malf round where the nuke was spaced, but still blew up the station when the countdown finished.
  22. Off-Topic Question:What does emagging jukeboxes do? And do emagged arcade machines still gib you when you lose?
  23. Post that for those who haven't been lucky enough to see the fireworks. P.S.:Imagine a triple or quadruple SM explosion......
  24. What I am about to tell you happened during a MALF AI round, with me being the *Cough cough* Rampant *Cough cough* AI. I started the round right away by stating a lawset that I invented over the common frequency, then hacking APCs after telling the Commands that it would increase my processing power. Of course, a fellow borg had to ruin it by saying that hacking APCs does not in fact generate processing power. But that doesn't really matter, as I don't end up putting my Malf abilities to use. After I researched the Advanced Encryption Hack (Faking CC Messages), I sent a message saying that Central has given the Engineering and Science departments an assignment to test the effects of a detonating Supermatter Shard on another shard. This was to be done by setting up two supermatter cores alongside each other, and then triggering the detonation of one of them, observing the effects, and transmitting the results to CentComm. I also added that if the project were to be completed, the Engineering and Science departments would get a permanent pay raise of 1000 Credits. The Engineering and Command staff were (Obviously) more than happy to set up the experiment, so I ordered the Supermatter via cargo, which took some time since we didn't have any supply points. In the meantime, the engineering team started fixing all the APCs I hacked after the engineering borg decided to be a pain in the butt, but that wasn't a problem, and I (Mostly) complied with the order to stop hacking APCs. Following the repairs, the CE entered the upload and set my laws to NT Default, then told me to open the core to repair the APC there. Of course,I told him that in order to access the core, at least two Heads of Staff are needed or a Head and a Security officer, so the CE got the Captain to accompany him inside the core. There, there was the perfect opportunity to switch the turrets to lethal and kill the most important people on the station in an instant, but I decided to be a peaceful AI (Ayy Lmao). A few CT votes (Which voted to continue the round) and camera setups later, the crew started to set up the experiment on the asteroid, next to the research outpost. This is what the test chamber looked like before the detonation was started: https://puu.sh/qjBtA/5dc8292daf.png Then, the crates were opened, the emitter turned on,and the door was welded, and we awaited the Supermatter explosion that would inevitably follow.Unfortunately, there was a bug with the camera where I only got static screens where the chamber was,but the image was provided by the CE himself. Some time after the emitter was turned on,the two cores spewed out so much phoron and oxygen that the chamber, and even a nearby cavity in the asteroid, were engulfed in white/blue flame. Soon after, the supermatter alert went out,and the Comdom ordered everyone into the maintenance tunnels until the cores finally detonated. After the delamination happened, the brave CE and Tajaran Atmospherics Technician went to investigate Ground Zero of the explosion. Firstly, they found the abandoned outpost: http://puu.sh/qjCfR/9cbd01bca2.png Then sent me an image of the camp outside the testing site: http://puu.sh/qjCDY/9839d03809.png Then of Ground Zero: http://puu.sh/qjCl5/288eff29d9.png Then another, more centralized, image of the test site: http://i.imgur.com/M0Dj6hr.png After that, our brave scientist and his flimsy ANOMALY EXCAVATION SUIT went to investigate the testing site, but never quite made it. What's funny is that since the asteroid is not a PERFECT vacuum (You will actually get some pressure if you use a gas scanner), the "air" was superheated by the explosion and burned the scientist's suit. Luckily,he made it back inside with only some burn damage. I then sent the Admins a mouthful of pseudoscience about the SM explosion, images included, via "Emergency Message", and faked a Central Command announcement congratulating the crew on their success with the experiment. By this point,I had researched System Override, but decided not to start it. I called in a final CT vote, everyone transferred without injuries, and the crew lived to fight another round, and almost nobody knew I was Malf until the End of Round text came up. THE END. *All Images used were provided by the engineering team free of copyright*. Note: What's interesting is that the outline of the test bunker was carved into the asteroid after the supermatter cores delaminated.
  25. I will try to keep this short and get straight to the point. My idea is that we should include some of the things that Baystation has, as well as from /tg/,in the AuroraStation code. The first thing I would like to see on Aurora is to have the nuke replaced with a self-destruct terminal that is bolted to the station's Vault, but can be unbolted via a wrench, rather than having it look like a cartoon bomb. Maybe it should also issue a station-wide alert when it is being moved around. The second and third ideas comes from /TG/'s wiki page titled "High Risk items".The first of those would be the "Secret Documents" containing various corporate secrets, important information, etc, which would be hidden in a glass case inside the Head of Security's office The next thing I would like to see is a set of special traitor items, obtainable either by uplink or ADMINBUS: A special,thin-tipped screwdriver and a special container for storing the nuke's plutonium core. More info is available here:https://www.tgstation13.org/wiki/High-risk_items#Plutonium_Core . This could be a special traitor/merc/heist objective, rather than the usual "Kill, maim, steal" objectives. Maybe a station-wide alert could go out to make stealing the nuke core harder. Let me know what you think. Edit: Forgot about a suggestion to make the agent ID more versatile. Basically, make it able to forge more information besides name and assignment. On Baystation, you could forge almost everything on the ID,including age, fingerprint hash, name, assignment, account number, and account pin. This would potentially allow for more fun with fake identities.
