Okay. let me just ask something since no one bothered to do it. Can some one tell me the REAL reason of this post? So far i've seen only topics that is in no way close to the topics title.

What you have to understand, that not everyone enjoys, likes the thought you're giving. You see the problem here we face is when antaging, ask yourself "IF I DO THIS, will EVERYONE or people INCLUDED Enjoy this?" And then ask yourself, if this question you answered to yourself, how accurate it was. DID EVERYONE ENJOYED IT, or was it just you or was it few people. Was your goal achieved what you wanted? And who gives a fuck? That sounds like a really ignorant question for me, because for some it's a great deal! Just because some people do not like we play, then dont even start moaning about it. Let me tell you, personaly as an Antag RD (sometimes when RnJESUS feels like to screw me over). I feel REALLY REALLY narrowed on the so called 'freedom' you say. Why? Due to fact that there's always people who will metagame, people who will just wait that golden oportunity for you to make a mistake, even if it is a small one, they will shit on you, and everyone is on your neck. I am not a clever nor a creative person when it comes to antaging. Hell last time i antaged agressively i had a player complaint, and i dont want any of that stress wreckage train on me again, fuck that! But i do see your point, i dont deny it. But i personaly feel like everything can be put against you if you're not TO damn carefull like a serial killer on a loose prying on weak. I hate that gamestyle, and dont want it. Nuff said. Never said anything about unpreventable certain death. Surely, the bed idea can be toned down not to kill the person outright but still having a chance to kill the bugger if the medical isn't quick enough to realise the problem why the person is dying of huge toxin damage. Freezing up people doesnt outright kill them. They will be.. Let's say "Suspended" for a period of time. Surely can be brought back into the game. So in short, do we really want AI to just shock doors/ door slam and explode equipment and people meta the shit out of this, or do we give AI something more diverse and creative to manipulate the round and make people really scared of the said event incase of malfunctioning machines. This would make stealth Ai even better. I am saying this as a person who myself hate Malfunction and seeing that AI always does the same old shit. Make up some story, manipulate the crew a bit, get op brogs, kek a bit, get destroyed by crew, or rek crew by having op borgs (which are good) rinse and repeat. Oh.. and pop a delta for good measures.

For the gibbing, i was more like thinking that the machine makes a 'real' body but the only difference is, the player who is already dead, doesnt get trasnfered into that 'real' body that's about to be cloned. The cloned body will only get gibbed, but it cannot longer work on the player that was the cloning done for. For example. If McDouchē got killed and is about tries to get cloned, he wont get cloned but the body that's about to get finished will get gibbed. allright some malfunction in equipment, sais doctor, and tries again. This time the McDouchē gets cloned completely.

Since AI malf is strong enough already if he has three death borgs, destroyed the borg consoles so they dont die, and can door crush people and etc. The exploding equipment is all nice and all, but... i for one want to see more creative ways to kill people when they are needed to be tended to by trained medical team. Hey, this guys getting treated? Let's help him and then INJECT TONS OF LETHAL DOSES OF CHEMICALS INTO THAT MUTHA FUCKA! People can put the dead people inside, scan them and clone them. But once they try cloning the clone will be nothing but GIBS! Soon as that patient has completed cloning sequence, the body will automaticaly turn into a friggin pile of gibs. (Of course, this method could be use limited times due to how op it would be for AI since it removes people from game while not being cloned properly)

THIS IS ONLY FOR ROBOTICS (hence the reason why they're able to make the bots) Have the ability for Robotics to have their own robot unit control cartridge, where they can set bots into three states. 1:Idle 2:Patrol 3:Summon to the place where you currently are. If anything else, maybe even make it that they can go to specific departments and stay there for example, the reach the destination and they become idle. Thank you.

As an RD, i only make my Robotics to do this Form only once the required robotic construct is required from a specific department. For example Ripley, you want it? Boom ,paper work then you can deliver/give. Medical wants to have an odysseus? Boom paper work, then you can deliver/give it. As long people do not ask for medibots, floorbots, janibots, i still ask for Robotics to make them, and ignore the paper part, because.. No one asked from outside Science department. Since we still dont have Exoskeletons... i am still hoping that we will recieve.

If you have a legitimate reason and a proper requisition form for the power cells, only a dumb RD or a paranoid one infact would deny it. If you have a problem with people IC, you try and find the reason as to why they did that, and speak to other heads. If you are in a shift where THERE IS NO ONE TO PROVIDE SERVICE, then you'd better either: A)Wait the fuck where ever you are untill some one comes to help you with the issue on power cells B)You don't. Simple, you dont wait, and forget the thought of some one helping if there is no one and if you lost hope waiting. And on the other note, if people can't use words to ask for assistance, then the person who needs help needs to learn how to approach the issue and learn how to use words. Simple. Robotics Construction crate has two or three high capacity cells, though you're still limited in having to ask some one (RD. Robotics, or Captain) to unlock it.

Nope, you couldnt. Autolathe cannot produce power cells. Only Protolathe and Exosuit fabricators can. Cargo can order them if needed.

Robotics can make basic type power cells from the very start just so you know. It's cheap, small and low ammount of power inside them, but what people have to do each round is sync up the machine so they can make it.
