So far many of your edits have been along the lines of adding relevant categories and navboxes to pages that were never given them, and this is good because it's pretty arduous work that not many people are thrilled about wanting to do, least not on a grand scale checking every page like you have. Good job! Time spent on the server, I feel, doesn't have too much bearing on whether or not you should be on the team, so no need to worry much about that; as long as you feel committed to moderating the wiki and issuing corrections/creating content for users to reference to aid the overall server experience, then that's good enough for me. So anyways this is accepted. You'll be DM'd in the future.

Hello and thank you for applying. Sorry for not getting to this sooner. Baystation moved from Mediawiki to Wiki.js to my knowledge, and is sorta kinda cobbled into it's new website if you were wondering. Mixed reactions from me about that, but that's besides the point. Regarding some of the pages you worked on, it's true: I personally did nab a part (or all of it I can't remember) of Bay's hydro wiki article because I was lazy and the page looked good and correct for Aurora. Good job, by the way! And on that note, I have been keeping an eye on your recent edits to Aurora's wiki in the mod queue and I'm pleasantly surprised to see that you know how the tables work and have been making large edits to them. Really, not many people know how they work, so having you on to help moderate/contribute to those sorts of pages would be pretty nice. As for lore pages, it's important to keep in mind that lore maintainers have authority over them and practically any change to them needs permission from the lore writers first and foremost; grammatical corrections and better punctuation are fine, but changing the wording needs permission. Just something to know. All this considered, I'd like to see your talents on the team. This app has my approval.

Firstly, my apologies for not getting to this application sooner. I had said I would give it a look earlier (exactly one month ago, in fact. good grief) and somehow didn't. My bad. Secondly, as mentioned by Chada, there's not exactly a set time you're expected to contribute to the wiki for: if you joined the team to make one edit and leave then I'd think that would be weird but it's not really any skin off of my back, and that's not what you're applying for anyway, so all good there. And I can jive with the part about just being given the ability to contribute to the wiki without needing a maintainer's permission, heck that's why I signed up the first and second time, even. Anyways, I have no problems with this application and look forward to seeing you on the team. This has my approval.

The fact that the wiki doesn't work for you after selecting an appearance is really unfortunate, @Arrow768 will probably have to take a look at it and help you out there. Other than that, I'd like to see your skills on the team, so +1.

Hello and thank you for signing up for wiki work. As stated on other apps there is a 24 hour waiting process for others to weigh in with their two cents before a call can be made. Nonetheless, just a couple questions: Would you mind linking to pages that you've worked on in the past? I'm curious to see where you like to focus your efforts. With that in mind, what parts of wiki maintenance do you feel you are strongest in? Lastly - and I really don't mean to be rude, nor am I saying this app is already dead in the water before it's been given a fair shake - but a quick glance at your forum activity reveals a sort of interesting history. Obviously mistakes are made, some more egregious than others, but I'd appreciate input from others who have interacted with you previously before the call is made to make sure there's no trouble once all is said and done.

What I'm really looking for in applications is a willingness to help contribute to the community's resource of information, and you show that in this app, so here's my +1. Apps are up for 24 hours before a call can be made. Unless there are any glaring/unaddressed issues presented by others who wish to point something out, this is going into approvals after a day.

The other wikis disappearing - along with your work - is a bit disheartening. But experience or no, I don't see why you shouldn't be on the team, so here's my +1. Apps sit for a minimum of 24 hours before a call can be made. I may as well ask though: why do you want to be on the team? What area of the wiki would you like to focus on, if any?

As a note to everyone, inexperience neither disqualifies nor dims your chances of getting on the wiki team. Unless there's something UNIGNORABLY AWFUL (or otherwise important) to say on this app, I don't see any reason to keep this waiting any longer than it should. EDIT: In spite of this, apps have to wait 24 hours before a call can be made. Oof! I'll give it 3 hours or so for input, otherwise I'm stamping it with my approval anyway.

So hey, apparently I've been made the new wiki lead. Funky how that works. And in spite of a nearly four year gap between this post and the original, Aurora's need for wiki maintainers remains true: the wiki still needs work and touching up in a lot of areas - especially for new content that hasn't had a page made yet - and the upcoming NBT is going to exacerbate this to another level in some regards. Thus we're going to need all the help we can get! Your work will mostly be the following: Cleaning up and updating any obviously old/incorrect pages and headings. Updating pictures and other media, mostly in the form of sprites. Creating new pages for important content that doesn't already have it. Creating, updating, or expanding upon guides for gameplay mechanics, jobs, and other stuff. Consolidating bits of information spread around the wiki into the relevant sections so that info isn't scattered all about. Moderating and approving/denying edits made by non-maintainers, according to the edit's accuracy and adherence to standards and legibility. All of the above can be done at your leisure; there aren't really any deadlines and I won't be breathing down your neck for something to be done. A lot of the stuff you'll be focusing on will probably come about from the community pointing out incorrect info or ugly formatting on pages that they've stumbled across. Lastly, if contributing to the wiki is something you want to do but have no clue how formatting, standardization, or how the general workflow of wiki work goes, I will teach you all of that. It's a lot simpler than you may think. Looking forward to seeing your application! Edit: In addition to becoming a maintainer, you get access to the staff discord where more important decisions are made and you're even given a pink name! WHOA!!!

Chada is a necessary addition to any wiki team and I really want them on it so +1. Get in here already
