  1. Opinions/critique of James Crimson?
  2. James Crimson - fabulous lonely IAA, socially akward, argues with his implant, who he calls Balthazar. Almost never lies to crew, but tends to rephrase unwanted information
  3. I prefer the archaic, overly complicated "Cyberpunk 2020" for my role playing needs >forever DM because i'm the only one who read the huge rule book Also, it completely RUINS the cyberpunk appeal when there's also magic in the mix, i just can't stand it because i'm a dirty plebeian.
  4. Upon first seeing Luna she went out of her way to spark a conversation with my boyfriend. As she shuffled closer, coffee in hand, i assumed she was there to steal him a nurse's nurse, naive, flirtatious, just there to have fun, bad with emotions and pretends to be a cat sometimes, like what a girl dressing up for halloween would think nurses are like. I was pleasantly suprised that i was wrong in only one regardt.she wasn't nearly as flirtatious as i hoped thought she was going to be. And she's fun to talk to, being pretty chiper I don't really get the whole "attachment to Roy" thing, i think there's a fleshed out character beyond that, and it totally doesn't strike a bit too close to home, condsidering my relationship with Stamos, no sir. Times I've interacted with Luna were pretty good, i never thought she was out of character, and despite my character hating that she acts like an innocent bystander, doing pretty much nothing of consequence, i don't, it's consistent enough with her character I rate her a not-Vivian-Rival/10 *proceeds to gush about how cool Vivian is and how much she owned Luna*
  5. responding personnel: James Crimson,Internal Affairs Agent I would just like to chime in and say that this is abhorrent behavior, i mean i had to work hard just so i can land this job where i do hardly any work and talk to bartenders all shift long, and she goes and signs up as lab assistant? That's completely unfair, we should think about demotion to assistant where in she will do /no/ work and spend all her time in the bar, keeping me company
  6. I hate myself
  7. Wha about fashionable bartenders? And going down that route who comes to work in an old man suit? Or purple skirts? I don't see why we should remove/replace it, can't we just complain IC?
  8. not criminals. POTENTIAL criminals. Considering she tends to be CSI and loves her job, a lot of it bleeds into IA. She adores the investigating, so naturally she jumps at every opportunity to look into investigating a bunch of broken lights or demotions, or anything that she suspects will lead to someone making a complaint, as it all falls into departmental and inter-departmental issues. I don't really remember chasing down actual criminals, only tailing sec officers in code green so i can complain about displaying firearms, or interviewing someone who potentially committed malpractice in their profession and looking to file demotions. but She rarely even does that, as she's befriended around 4 bartenders and 2 librarians in her long, long shifts where no one needs her to do anything as IA, and seeing as her office doesn't have a chair in which to sit near the front desk she sees it as NT subtly telling her to leave anyway. The Stamos thing is too long to explain but it's a lot of fun to see people's theories on what's going on between us. This all culminated in her being visited by a CC officer so you never know if demotions are in order anyway :3
  9. Haruspex CMO would make my day. he's an IPC idea that you don't see often and it's done really well. +1, it would make my day every day to see Haruspex as CMO. (and Rectum has a point with mutiny captainship as well)
  10. strange, both times i played mutiny these past few days, Once with Lux and second time with Avery in charge of security, we stormed the Captains office, placed the captain in holding until transfer and ended the round in 2 hours. Second time cap and Avery literally had a showdown, Avery won and cap SSD'd, it was the first time i even saw the captain that shift. Mutiny just seems like "WHO WILL SEC JOIN WITH?" gamemode. Wish more players other then Sec had bigger agency
  11. I was that IA agent Since this character is gonna require a whole different flavor of raw roleplaying then that incident, i can't really tell if he's qualified for...you know, deep psychological struggles. HOWEVER i really enjoyed roleplaying that round with Claire. he was quick on his wit, and kept the interest going throughout both times we met on that round and he's probably the reason i'll continue experimenting with character ideas. I hope to spend more time around his characters, as he can weave a narrative pretty easily (for example, i was actually the one to initially ask if i was cloned after having ~30 seconds of connection issues). i hope this counts for something, you get a personal +1 from me, but you're also fairly unknown and it might be a good idea to mingle and match with people around the station first
  12. William Rydell- used to be a Xenobiologist, was fired due to inability to do the job (he claims he has it figured out but that was before the process to eradicate his contract began). now is mostly a Science bum, otherwise known as lab assistant Morgana Static- CSI and an occasional IAA. buys a lot of bottled water. Thinks attitude is everything and looking good doing something is nearly as important as doing something good. Gets into a lot of love shenanigans, grew up around girls.
  13. I wish more people would act IPC's like in William Gibson's Neuromancer RAM and ROM differences take ROM like and RAM such as and compare if it's RAM it's basically truly artificial. it cannot retain new information well, it can't grow in any meaningful way and it is bound to repeat itself a lot. it emulates what it means to be a personality. often down to laughter lacking any sense of humanity. it doesn't feel. the only thing that might bother it is the fact that nothing does. it can provide interesting RP if you are, for example, retained memories of a person, residing in a construct, such as the construct in the book. then there's ROM and it has the ability to learn and the ability to grow. It's not chained down to any one-track personality and can alter it's data when he wishes so. If per say an IPC would be a ROM, there would be no real reason to not let it be a head, actually, they would probably be more effective at their job then any organic. and it would also be interesting to see roleplay with these IPC's. but then again does that make them too human and therefore there's no real reason to be one except potential prejudice? pish, posh, just nerding out anyway
  14. didn't meet Haruspex a lot, but Scnuffler is great, past Centurion, most recognizable non-organic in the brig for me. Also i was around for the N20 thing, didn't know it saved Andy. Hope he was luckier then most that round. also, Igam is a good bartender too, i only ever had quality bartender time with Cammile, but i saw people having fun with Igam....the bar was full so i didn't join, but yea, respect
  15. Opinions on Morgana Static? >implying people know about her >implying anyone cares >implying she stands out anyway
  16. contributin' because why not?
  17. well i guess this is as good of a reason as any to join the forum
