I know but dem corporate spirituality~ Such a cool concept in my mind , even if it makes absolutely no sense. Also there's a lot of assumptions going around regarding supremacy and racism. OP technically hasn't stated any values the pope has, past the standard bible adoring. But that's so vague because everyone bends the bible however they desire. The current pope going on wildly different stances then the former, but what holy man is the right between the two? Why would the roman pope be a traditionalist earth supremacist though? wouldn't that just make a bunch of heavily religiously brought up christian characters either do some character rewriting to not be affiliated with the church or become earth supremacists? On the other hand i really really dig the idea of there being more then just 2 popes. -not subtly insane characters Only ever played one normal character. All my currents have mental issues. Stuff like lack of empathy, severe social anxiety, a voice inside their head, avoidant personality disorder, obsessions with human experimenting, trust issues, personality issues due to cloning, feelings of needing redemptions or pain to cleanse from their sins,various relationship and sexual related issues. Money preoccupations/loving, PTSD, regrets, frustrations born from loneliness,self image problems...etc. usually the characters deal with them in a destructive manner, commonly alcohol, or succumbing to thei r needs -Family I've played young girls,50 year old heavily religious men, weak willed girly dude miners, had many injury RP, self inserts, direct psych convos that lasted almost entire rounds, neon hairs, shitty fokkin' accents, ya taffers, only emote rounds, tragic snowflakes, intentional fuck ups, gay, straight, bisexual nd asexuals. But none of my characters have families. I find people that talk to their parents or brothers/sisters strange. Perfect sitcom families are downright the most disturbing thing ever to me. I've tried to have families IC'ly. It never panned out in the end. Retconned everything before i had a chance to even talk about them. The prospect if having kids alone is horrifying to me, due to some personal issues. Not that families are such a big, or having children being very interesting.so i'll most likely never ever have a family -being a 100% douche I play the friendliest nuke ops I once scammed someone out of 2500 credits by claiming i had bluespace cancer. Vittorio Giurifiglio A character everyone likes to hate. A more then welcome evil. I know him OOC as "the racist one" and IC'ly my first impressions were mostly that he's rude. I've seen his racism take an almost predatory nature, which was actually very interesting. I haven't had much interaction personally, but he still made an impact on my characters. My IAA, almost like an old bitter cop, considers him like an obvious criminal he never managed to pin down despite having evidence (mostly due to round to round canon shenanigans), and he hates Vittorio. My other character was revised to be, not racist, but he doesn't treat xenos same as humans anymore, with your influence. Also very colorful insults. But the negative aspect of the critique is that Vittorio reeks of being a self insert. And your other character sounds similar, especially with being also a racist and all. We Glitchy As a warden, i remember him looking pretty intimidating. I didn't get much interaction with him until Glitchy visited my old psychologist. This is where Glitchy shined in 1on1 talk. Two people played EXCELLENTLY. Very easy to get lost in both organically. Player is a very entertaining roleplayer. Great on-the-spot drama and amazing responses. A great concept aswell, backstory seems lacking a bit, but this seems like the idea character that you develop the backstory through playing. Sorry i kinda sucked at psych. You made me wanna go buy a cool car to compensate for my smaller RP. Avery Dawkins Despite me working security often and seeing him around Kim and as captain, i still IC have NO idea what kinda person he is. Despite this, most my characters have strong opinions of him. Take that however you want, Doom. As security, his threats somehow always make me think twice, even when i set my mind to do mean stuff. Him being around Kim is adorable, and slightly terrifying once you read the records. I saw him get a job of tailing wizards or antags on more then one occasion, and strangely i don't see much of anyone else get that job ever. So ive come to know him as "tailing person" (at one point tracking Morgana and taking pics, i remember). He's a very competent captain, and also very nice to IAA . Makes James wanna snuggle him. Avery and Kim are adooorable. I wish i knew what hidden shit you whisper to her all the time. I hate to come of sounding a bit negative. I like seeing Avery around, bit hard to approach non-professionally Winston Carton My,my,my...so much to say... Winston is one of those characters that makes me wanna find the player and have him tell me all his secrets. The greatest story arc that i wasn't a part of. James knows about his wife and step brother. James knows about all the strange questions he asks the tajaran bartender. James spends many nights sighing wishfully, wanting to know what's going on in Winston's life. My IAA gained a lot of respect for him, seeing as he did, and does a good job as security, despite personal drama affecting his life. Player's dedication to do IC forum replies only emphasizes my own laziness, good job on those replies. 2 lenght. I wonder what the original idea for the character was and how much he truly developed. As much as he is good in security, i wouldn't mind seeing him as bartender more too. I was soooo suprised to know you have trouble talking to people ingame. I remember discussing the best places to find prostitutes with Winston when he was bartender, and had a lot of fun talking to him. I think you're just not giving yourself enough credit. Also, meat puppets is a concept from Neuromancer by William Gibson, fun fact <3 Lux Niklaus A character i LOVE to hate. Sorry for being such a dick and even making you cryo (not me alone, but still...). You're my favorite HoS, completely unlike Avery, i can't take any threats from Lux seriously. it's so hard to criticize Lux because his faults are what makes the character soooo enjoyable. I don't want him to fix his mistakes (even though he probably did...sadface.jpg). In other roles i've seen him as IAA, might wanna give him a more interesting backstory. Overall adorable/10.Hell, you can fix him as much as possible, but Morg will never love his voyeuristic, swear hating butt! Viva la commander faggot! Miko Is he the bartender? I saw him being really good talker with other people. There's more nuance then that here in play, i think. There's a reason Thundy is doing this, she's smart. With my limited knowledge of stuff that happened, feelings were hurt. And that stuff takes time to heal. I'm not sure what Thundy's underlying reasons are, and i'm already goig beyond what my nervousness would allow me to on good days(hell, my brain is screaming that this is a bad idea) Ultimately though, Thundy knows what she's doing, and the person, to my understanding, asked and worked this over with thundy, yea? Her not returning is as much of her fault as it's his then, it was her decision aswell. There is no need to bash and burn this mystery person now. No, if you really want Thundy back, then perhaps you should either allow time to mend the wounds, or if you're bold, try to help in a non destructive manner. Or you could be a dick about it still. Not like she asked you not to be or like she might feel guilt , i'm sure that pressure won't have any impact on weather she'll come back or not

while we're talking about changing corp regs, can someone please elaborate a bit more on "i106-Suspicious Conduct". because it's far worse in my opinion, and a HoS can use it as an excuse to detain people on really insignificant matters. or at least remove the fine/brig time because the people in question don't necessarily even have to commit a legitimate crime.

What about rivals? or people from someone's past who they're conflicted about? someone to bring out a facet of the past they wish to forget about and/or was never resolved. Someone to shake things up in the normal every day life of the character. it's much more RP focused then making automatic friends, but also something i think a lot more people would want

I don't really see why he should be stripped of his whitelist or reprimanded. Even if he did do something wrong, it was his first time and i mean, seriously, he didn't even really do anything that bad even. It's like every time a captain RP's someone files a complaint, first Boka and now this, it really saps people of wanting to play command positions. I think Prospekt in this case probably didn't do this out of malice. I just think you thought so at the time (and probably think the same now). my character likes to tell people they did "Dancer", a drug that makes them more alert and agile. it's from Virtual Light, by William Gibson also Betaphenethylamine, substance from "Neuromancer" also some fun ones; "The Fear" in Red Star, Winter Orbit, "Bliss" from Red Dwarf, "Milk +" from clocwork orange, aswell as serum 114 used with the ludovico machine. Honk and double Honk in discworld, dried frog pills too. Redeye from cowboy bebop And Otrazone from red dwarf for IPC's. I want more reference drugs in my SS13. or at least, IPC circut burning drugs

As a pretty regular primarily IAA character, i think the implant can ADD to the RP just as much as it can deduce. And if this goes through we might see more IAA's but i'll request i still retain mine. Playing IAA is unlike playing any other role on the station specifically because of the implant. You aren't supposed to make friends, you are supposed to remain unbiased, no matter how much you detest someone. Having an implant doesn't make you a drone. your can still have feelings, and you can even try to go and make friends, but the implant forces you to act in a certain manner. it makes you second guess every decision and affect your psyche on a very deep level. It's literally impossible to not make connections, start to respect or admire someone, or be unbiased when you remember past grudges and wrongdoings. This doesn't mean you can't have any feelings, it just means that in the end your feelings don't matter one bit. even if you don't want to, even if you might lose a friend, or be physically abused for following Central's orders (as i was in multiple Mutiny rounds when you become the only advocate for burning people), you HAVE to do it. Tell me that can't make interesting RP. All IAA treat their Implants differently, and that's a good thing. you can justify the variations with a lot of ways (such as just different models). IAA that reduce their implant's purpose to "keep NT's interests going" shouldn't be reprimanded IMO(as long as the things they do are in moderation). And IAA that are prevented from even lying should still be available to play, after all, you won't be able to act that way against your own will in any other job.

White hair is kept maintained very well. Her body is slender. not very curvy. a bit tomboyish even. Judging by my bank account, i pray for his soul. I ordered pizza and a corgi for the bar, seeing as most station personnel was there. I also carried around a Plasma cutter around, later also a knife for the pizza. i was pleasantly surprised no one minded that. felt a little bad for the chef until he called me a skinhead [ACCOUNT ONE OF BALD DISCRIMINATION] an Unknown PDA'd me, demanding I order a ballistics crate. I did as such, assuming it was security. Unknown instructed me to leave it near maintenance door. I included a box of donuts too. I stamped, approved and filed all the paperwork in the drawer. Suddenly the Unknown told me to get a miner to open it. I see Jade in front of Cargo with a fellow officer. The PDA beeps once again- "I am losing my patience with the miner. Tell him that if he does not leave the holodeck, Rasine will die. If you or him say a word, Rasine will die." Jade has made her way inside Cargo, the box is near the maintenance in docking bay. I run there. my mind of flooded of images of her eating the rat infested trash donuts. I filed all the paperwork, they'll get me, i'm sure of it. Aaron isn't responding, Jade strolls inside, almost near the box. Thank god i was in a tug because i was too shaken to stand. Eying that baton at all times, She says she is taking the box. Wait, now there is a quartermaster and another cargo tech, getting another box is going to be hard, but at least i am not in brig. I rush to holodeck, swearing to the Unknown i will get another box, i swear, just don't hurt anyone. He tells me to tell Miner to follow instructions and delete messages. I decide not to. Later Aaron corners me, asking me what i know. i drop composure. i tell him in normal god damn Tau Ceti that i don't know. I draw out my PDA and show him our conversation. He swears to kill him. This is not compassion. What have i done? It is ok, she gets saved later. I am glad. i regain composure and fall back into my facade of broken Tau Ceti. Not much happen. i mysteriously don't see corgi in bar, wonder what happen. Only one case of Bald discrimination. On departures i meet a fellow BBM employee and we rub our bald heads together.
