My favourite WAT mechanic I discovered when I first made Michael Tool the one armed Hop, he can't be handcuffed at all. So when he gets robusted(a very rare occurrence) people try to handcuff him and it fails miserably then they're surprised when he gets back up. XD also this leads to Michael being executed for more than you would think

I love the idea of option three, I was quite surprised with sec not being in the middle, surely that would create the quickest response time for security? I know that's not what's the most important thing just curious as to why option three is the way it was thought about?

Like IJ said all that needs to be said. Yes we have antagonists.. But if say the Vox started a war(not saying they would) how would that create any rp other than "haha get rekt burdz". Whereas this is so much different we don't have Vox characters but we do have SA characters and we do have colonist characters, the tension this will create is immense. Also just a note; I'm totally up for the government idea

It is short, I used to be a bit over the top with my backstories but then I realised not many people read through them and tend to skip out on details if they're too long. So I shorten them and if someone is REALLY interested in the detail of the backstory they can either PM me or find out in character. It seems silly but I'd rather people get the general gist of the backstory rather than just skip it entirely because it's too long hope this addressed your concerns

One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I have had several robotic characters over the years, the one of which being Kingsley a Borg with a strong adheration of the British empire and the commonwealth. I've always felt Borgs lack the depth to truly get into deep character arcs and character motives due to me not knowing if I'll actually get to play them in the round because of not being able to join as a Borg mid round. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Specifically synthetics are fun to play when they don't ask too many questions, the Captain says jump synthetics say how high? This creates an incredible dynamic in which synthetics are relied upon majorly. Two of my favourite IPC characters Haruspex and Aquilla aren't OOC wise going to not be antags, but my characters trust them without question, and I think that's great! Why does this species in particular hold your interest? After Kingsley's creation Elizabeth deemed him a failure of her own hubris. Kingsley was curious in a way Elizabeth was so infuriated with, when first conceiving the idea of Kingsley she wished for an android with the ability and drive to learn. Kingsley was too keen, he'd constantly question everything Elizabeth said until Elizabeth was so driven crazy by him that she picked up the closest book and gave it to him for him to read. The book was The greater histories of the British Empire and her satellite nations. Kingsley read and read and read until he essentially became a supporter of the old Empire. Kingsley lusted for more knowledge unhappy with the conclusion of the British empire and this drove Elizabeth to the brink, she sold Kingsley to the local scrap merchant who in turn sold Kingsley to Nanotrasen in exchange for a quite petty amount. Kingsley was assigned as a bodyguard for many important officials and even went as far as to receive the honourably title of Nanotrasen security officer. Kingsley yearned for a better use and eventually convinced his superior to assign him on to the NSS Aurora. What do you like about this character? his curiosity, he's constantly inquisitive and unable to accept the fall of the British empire. Love this idea reminds me of firefly despite hating the current unified sol I am loving the idea of having my colonial character who's a very verbal and fiery man get to voice his disgust with the war efforts, and his moaning about the days when in his youth the Sol Union left his system alone to do their own shit
