Harwin drew his last breath as he gargled blood staring at the steel giant who had killed him, his hands didn't let go of Nathaniel's shoulder after he had died and the crowd went silent, most wondering if the King would have Nathaniel taken, others wondering how long before the maester ran out into the field. The Broken Hammer Michael stood up quickly as he watched Nathaniel raise his mace "Don't hit him with that thing you fool, you'll kill him!" Michael's outcry was drowned out by the crowd cheering. Michael sighed and sat down, before long the Knight had killed the guardsman and withering old Grand Maester Pycelle had limped over to the scene before standing up. "Ser Nathaniel of Tarth has slain Harwin of Winterfell in combat, how does the king judge him?" Michael was perplexed, tourney's were often dangerous men died, Michael thought the knight had done it by accident and maybe he had, but that didn't matter when King Robert spoke up with his booming voice. "I hereby call forth anyone related to the fallen, so that they may decide the next step!", Robert seated himself as a small woman walked out. "Y-your grace, I beg retribution for the murder of my husband, Harwin" The crowd roared over any talks as they waited for a response from the steel clad giant.

Jokes aside I actually adminned with this guy, I think he's the perfect candidate. BUT sadly Plahunter beats you out I'm afraid.

IPCs can be stunned. I got flashed the other day by a borg, which kept me down for quite a while. While we can't be stunned with a taser, a stun baton will also work just fine. Was it changed recently? Because I watched Nebs eat an ERT team's worth of stun baton the other day

And Taj get nothing but their meow language and claws, plenty of players there, and Diona get an immunity to radiation, their own language, and their only draw back is that they walk slowly. Still not a whole lot of players there, and they get bonuses. They're walking talks like you said, and they still don't get as many players as other races, there are more Taj than Diona. It isn't "spice" that makes people want to play other races, if the only reason people want to play an Unathi is so they can be awesome badass spess warriors, they applied to play that race for the wrong reason. As much as I hate to say it, we all know why Tajies have so many players and the reason isn't "they're the most interesting lore wise race"

Just have to say, IPC's can't be stunned. And Diona are walking tanks, Unathi are far from overpowered. All of these things are just differences to add spice to the race, the more we get rid of those differences, the less people will play the race. If you don't believe me, please see the Skrell species.

I'm against nerfing the Unathi, having species vary in more than just sprites is nice. And exactly what Cresc said, the Skrell or IPC need a bit more focus.

Skull, maybe an energy gun? I actually like this idea, mostly because I've promoted so many bodyguards in the past, but I feel like I'm powergaming when I do it, having it hard coded would get rid of most of my guilt xD

A few grammatical errors, but overall quite a good application. I actually have a Skrell HOP that I used to play as Captain, and the reason there's no naming section on the Skrell page is because mostly people can name Skrell whatever the fuck they want as long as it sounds spacey. Oh and Accepted.

You did it. You did it again. You ignored my ideas and made a separate thread to push your own. I'm so ready to just pack up and stop creating things all together, roleplay on this server included. What's even the point? I don't care how pathetic it is to say this - consider my feelings and desire to make a difference to the server majorly wounded. Woah Cresc, first off never meant to hurt anyone's feelings. Your ideas WERE discussed amongst the lore team, you weren't ignored you actually caused meaningful debate and your idea to get rid of the slur is what spurred this. While the synthetic voices were a great idea we wanted something a little more strange, hence why I have SUGGESTED, not made CANON, telepathy. And I'd really appreciate an explanation on what you mean by I did it again? TLDR, didn't mean to hurt feelings, just to push for progress on the race I care most about.

I'd be all for that, the reason I suggested Skrell was mostly because the Skrell are basically blue humans who can't wear real hardsuit helmets. Whereas the Dionae are absolute damage tanks that don't need to eat or breathe or wear space suits or anything really.m

Right, many players have noted the serious lack of actual game mechanics the Skrell have associated to them. My suggestion here might seem a little crazy and ambitious but I really think it could add a new unique factor to the Skrell without ruining too much. First part of the Sugestion is the Skrell link Basically the idea is that Skrell could receive access to what is essentially their own version of the ling channel, I know what you're thinking that sounds rediculously OP. But is it? If a Skrell is knocked out, or sleeping then they won't have access to this 'link' we could even add some other nerfs to it like if a Skrell is wearing a hardsuit the waves can't penetrate and such. The second part is the lesser link, which would basically just see the removal of the Skrell language and replace it with a language that ignores muzzles and is pretty much invisible to Non-Skrell. I know this is crazy, but I think it's high time we had some appreciation for the Skrell and it's about time they got some lovin'. What's crazy is I even got Vittorio behind this... Fucking Vittorio, the most prolific xenophobe on our server, I got him to like an idea for an Alien race, Whaaaat.

I didn't say not to discuss it, the idea that it's talked about. And the reason I mentioned events is because of your reverence for them.

I'm really torn on how to process this, but you'll be happy to know Sleepy I'm leaning towards accepting it. The other thing to note is if you do mess up the chance is its possible you'll lose the race whitelist, so if you do get accepted I expect you to be on your best behaviour. Before I make a final decision I'll be waiting for more feedback

It's not here to add events, most of our lore isn't. It's here to add depth and variation to our little roleplay universe. And who says events can't be made from it later on? Refugees fleeing a traumatic manticore attack and having PTSD, or a lone manticore making it onto the station? Or even the Sol Alliance pushing against the Manticore raids, causing people to get drafted. Lore shouldn't just be about how it affects in game, it's about how people can use it for discussion, or backstory or even just to add context and depth to the universe.

Before you quit, and I didn't use it, I opted to using my own stuff instead as I didn't feel it fair to use your paragraph. If you took the time to read the lore you'd see that. In terms of military the Skrell DO have the best military BUT they would not win in a fight against humanity mostly due to sheer numbers and the Federations own slow to act methods. And I actually pretty much got rid of the "Skrell and human are besties" bit because I wanted Skrell and Human relations to be a little more tenuous the Skrell sharing whatever technology they don't need or won't threaten them. Now how about we keep it on topic and you stop throwing your accusations around hmm? [EDIT]: as I really hate people taking credit for work I've done(just a note Delta, you trying to take credit for work I did in spring 2014 is kind of silly, since you weren't on the server back then, silly Delta.)
