Trust me, finding out every time that you think you know it all that you've barely scratched the surface is a sensation I wish I could still feel.

Most of the time in order to move an item, you have to click on it with an empty hand. Other times, you need to drag them into your hand to access them in a different way. You need to DRAG jumpsuits into your open hand in order to take them off.

After playing a round in which I was chased by two lesbians and beaten halfway through critical with a rolling pin and a knife while begging them to stop because I insulted their hair, I really need to emphasize that cliques are bad, and you need to stay away from them at all costs. Cliques are when immature players stick to the same group and threaten anyone who gets close.

Yo yo yo. A few things you should know. 1 - If you're new to RP, /DON'T/ work in the medical bay. 2 - If you're experienced with RP, also don't work in the medical bay. 3 - Some players have bitchy, sassy, or otherwise rude characters which can sometimes make others feel threatened or offended by said players on an out-of-character level, which can lead to /D R A M A/, which is cancerous. Just make sure you can identify the line the between In-character and Out-of-character world, and try not to take too many in-game happenings personally. 4 - This community has a few setbacks, but it's pretty cool. Try not to get worked up over the periodic storms of drama that pop up every now and then, and you'll do just fine. 5 - Welcome to Aurora, enjoy your stay!

Biesel Intelligence Service: Login: **************** Login Accepted! -Relaying Transmission- "Agent A. Jameson reporting of the BIS. I managed to apprehend K-*static*-ha-*static*-ni of the NanoTrasen supply corps., a known influential miner with a large following in the supply department. Before returning him to our headquarters with my transport team, we discovered that on him was a large supply of stolen plasma. He's certainly on the same page as us, Com-*static*-t, and it's apparent that the workforce of NanoTrasen is deeply rooted with dissent. We'll need to look further into the utilizations of full NanoTrasen civilian crews to continue, I recommend you look over dossier 120-289a for further comprehension." "Other notes. Oh, I managed to grab a 'date' with a loyalty implanted figure, Head of Securi--*static*--r--*static*--a, and was able to perform a... Forced psychological screening on the physiology of their loyalty implant. Returning information now, check file 121-586a in thirty minutes for results." The Political thread, V.2

My dad and I fucking hate bureaucracy and law enforcement in this day and age, just throwing that out there. It's amazing how a cop can just walk up to you and find a way to fine or warn you about /SOMETHING/ you're doing wrong. -
This isn't mature enough to be on a complaint board. This is some of the lowest, scummy shit I've ever had the displeasure of seeing on Aurora. This is fucking Archangel material. Pull your head out of your ass, you know who. EDIT: "Pull your heads out of your asses." - Corrected this.

I am 16 and in college because High School has put me in therapy so I skipped a few grades with some really good test scores (but F's on all parts of my report cards). I hate my brother because he makes me do everything for him that involves moving stuff around the house. I only see him at 4am when he comes home wasted and I have to cover for him. I feel threatened by the sound of my mom's voice because I am threatened by women in general due to trauma in my past with females. I get drunk off of wine coolers and say it's Spiced Rum because I don't want to look like a lightweight. Weed makes me paranoid. I'm going to shoot my dog's head off with a 12 gauge shotgun in a few days/weeks because he has a broken leg, and is a victim of poisoning from a Chinese guy so he's allergic to everything but rabbit, and will throw up for 4/5 days if you give him something besides rabbit. My father is a genius but a bit of a manchild and probably my favorite person in the world. Pretty much the stuff that comes to mind when I look at myself and think of what my life is. I promise it's not as shit as it sounds.

I say the HOS needs an Assistant torture rack. But that's just because I think birds are fucking overrated.

Oh shit, you just got lore'd, son.

This antagonist brutalized and beheaded someone, and had about 5 items of contraband including a firearm, a full set of chameleon gear, and c4 charges. While it was still cruel to interrogate them after they surrendered to Rook, I've already made that clear in the complaint, I still think that does count as a serious antag.

I just realized no one gets the joke that I had here so I'll just edit it to have some cute faces

BYOND Key:Hivefleetchicken Character Names:Analiese Kleinheinz, Kaelea Moberly, Jessica Parks, Monique Beringer, Shayla Roberts, Stephanie Batten, Summer Floyd, Thi'reknos Ke'ick'chev, Vsevolod Volkov, Oriwaiquan Shai'aknatheras, Pash'ea Ka'mara, Gabriel Anastasius, Nathan Roh'hi'tin, Pash'ea Kamara, Malcolm O'Connor, Rook Jameson, Amber Jameson, Xrahnap Slalol, Laughing Gas the nuclear operative, and a lot more. I just recently deleted 90% of the above, but you still might have recognized them in the past. How long have you been playing on Aurora: About a year now, I believe? Species you are applying to play: IPC. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: The main thing that peaked my interest in wanting to play an IPC was watching Farcry and other more... Eccentric(?) players develop all sorts of quirky, beefy personalities for their IPC characters. It was cool to watch, and it took me a while to actually realize how intriguing the options of an IPC character were. Since then, I have slowly wanted to play IPCs more and more. The idea of having a synthetic mind based around an artificially designed personality seems fascinating to me (since a lot of my characters are created with simple quirks in mind), and I'd like a chance to sort of... Exaggerate these quirks in one of those comical IPC characters. I also think the idea of having a shell is... A bit snowflakey, but I'm still totally down to try it. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: There's a whole spectrum of ways you could design your IPC to be different than a human or any other race, as an IPC these days can actually pretend to be an alien race, which is.. Insane, but awesome, because it really makes the plane of IPC character design whole, which is what the main difference between IPCs and humans is to me: the freedom of their design and function. Whereas humans are, well, human, and may have some weird quirks to them, IPCs can be wholely designed around these quirks, because they're made with an artificial intelligence which could be designed around God knows what function. Some IPCs don't feel emotion, some don't feel any sensations besides those driven towards working. Why does this species in particular hold your interest? The most interesting part of playing an IPC, in my opinion, is the level of (artificial) humanity you wish to give them when you design them. It's your choice whether you want your IPC to be a cold, analytical, aggressive security worker, or have him be a sympathetic robot working as a bartender that's designed to cater to any crew member's needs and listen to their relationship problems, bad hair day stories, etc, with an artistic precision that could only be found in an entity that is wholely designed around that one purpose. There's are unlimited options of personality to apply to an IPC character, and this has really caught my eye. Character Name: Coalition. Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs: Created in 2430 as one of the first lines of friendly, personality-driven positronic artificial intelligence models, 'Coalition' was one of many intelligences originally designed to cater to care taking employees within NanoTrasen workplaces whilst mimicking a limited but varied number of human emotions that would combine to form an illusion of a thinking and feeling AI. Unfortunately, the line of products would quickly become known as a massive commercial flop, as the emotion-imitation directives were considered faulty, exaggerated, and annoying. Many of the products were thrown out of their workplaces or decommissioned due to them having virtually no value, as the line of products that were previously known as 'F-TIP's, or Feeling Thinking Intelligent Positrons would become target of online humiliation as almost all of the series would soon be deconstructed until 'further software updates were available'. That said, many do remain on board various NanoTrasen research stations and urban centers, one such being 'Coalition', a vintage model of the F-TIP series in which a multitude of the IPC's emotions still remain and function to their original purpose. While they may not always agree with one another, Coalition's various emotional mimicry states keep him functional and productive aboard the NSS Aurora, where he has just recently been assigned to assist in whatever processes required by his colleagues. What do you like about this character? I mainly like the exaggeration that he expresses in order to show emotion. To elaborate, his emotions are obviously artificial, and thus he performs them with a slightly faulty and overly steriotypical nature. It's not in a way that hinders him at all from completing his work, but instead just makes him one of the more fun and interesting personalities on the station. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I suppose my roleplaying skills are more good than bad; at least enough for other players to call me a good Roleplayer. That's all.
