BYOND Ckey: The_Ill_Fated Discord username: the_ill_fated Character names: Imogen Janse (Consular Officer) 99% of the time Andromeda Maschera (Bartender) Occasionally Species you are applying to play: IPC, Shell in particular ------------------------------ General Whitelist Requirements What colour do you plan on making your first alien character?: N/A Have you read the lore pages for the species you wish to be whitelisted for?: I have Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this species?: Largely I want to expand my roleplaying into a new character, and explore new avenues that I think having an IPC character will allow. I particularly have some difficulty finding characters engaging, and sticking with them beyond a few rounds, and I think this concept is one that resonates well with me and will hold my interest, and allow new and interesting roleplaying situations, as well as fun character development. What makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a human?: IPCs allow space for interesting character development to a substantial degree in a way I don't necessarily think is matched by other species in the lore. IPCs are created essentially as fully sapient, thinking beings from the get-go, and yet don't have the opportunities of developing who they are, and their conceptions of the world from a place of safety, and shelter as the other races tend to do, when raised by proper parents. In a lot of ways, IPCs are thrown into a Spur where many don't care about them at best, and actively hate them at worst, in circumstances that are profoundly unfair in most places where they face institutions of systematic oppression that they need to cope with, while simultaneously figuring out who it is they are as sapient beings. I think these factors allow for some interesting character development, especially in more existential avenues IPCs fundamentally might struggle with engaging socially with Humans, and other species as a result of not having the proper 'context' or social experience to smoothly fit in, they might struggle with understanding emotions, with evolving beyond the purpose they were originally made for, and developing as sapient beings. ------------------------------ Character Application Character Name: Hazel #S-H11.101 Write a backstory for your character. This may include their origin, education, personality and how they arrived to the SCCV Horizon. On the 22nd of July, 2460 in a production line in what would soon become the Republic of Konyang, a Shell labeled ‘Hazel #S-H11.101’ was activated, along with dozens of her ‘sisters’. Sharing the same face, programming and signature hazel eyes for which they’re named, destined for the Xiangtong Warehouse complex, for service-positions with the KRC. 101 was but one of dozens of Hazel models assigned across the breadth and width of the Complex, divided amongst the warehouse itself, and its supporting facilities. She found herself owned by the KRC, as a janitor within the plant’s KRC operated clinic that supported the warehouse’s IPC-heavy workforce. Yet their grasp upon her was light, though the majority of her days were marked by her janitorial duties, yet there remained free hours where she often found herself eagerly at first observing, and then as her presence was noticed, and tolerated, assisting the Clinic’s Engineers and Machinists. Over the following two years she made great use of this free-time, absorbing any breath of knowledge her new friends let slip, while she slowly, but certainly became more and more acquainted with Konyanger social mores, and habits. Yet on a stormy day in 2462, after months of hearing tales of unrest, of protests and riots across Konyang, her Supervisor approached her. The man told 101 that she was free, that Sol’s grip on Konyang had been ended, and with it, the servitude of all IPCs, she could do as she pleased. It was then, perhaps for the first time that 101 considered what …she wanted. Her life as a Janitor was ..useful for certain, that much was true yet it didn’t seem to matter. And so she asked to stay, not as a janitor, but as an assistant to the machinists within the Clinic, and with her years of careful observation, they accepted. For four more years she remained within the Clinic’s confines most days, occasionally venturing out with the friends she’d made to experience greater Konyang, yet always she returned to where she felt …useful, helpful, where she had begun to feel she mattered. That all came to an end in the early months of 2466, when the Rampancy descended upon Konyang, and upon 101. It saw to the bloody end of the normality she’d built for four long years, it saw to the end of the Clinic, to all of her friends, and to life as she knew it. Yet, in the depths of her rampancy, her life was saved by an unlikely source, that of the Vaurca Ra'Akaix'Yur Zo'ra. In the midst of the Horizon crew’s assault on the Xiangton Warehouse complex, she attempted to kill Yur, who easily stopped her attack, and rather than defending himself, Yur knocked 101 to the ground, cuffed her, and dragged her off to KRC holding. When finally awoken from her Silicon nightmare after the operation at the Kaneyama Nuclear Power Plant, she was informed of all that had happened, of the loss of all of her friends, of her rescue by the crew of the Horizon. Following months of testing, and repair by the KRC, 101 has finally found herself free once-more. With all she’d ever known gone, some presumably by her own, if unwilling, hand, she had a thought. Perhaps she might see if she could try to help those who’d helped her… How has the recent events of the Orion Spur impacted your character? Events such as the Phoron Scarcity, the Solarian Collapse or even the Invasions of Biesel for interstellar-wide affairs, while region-specific events such as the Peacekeeper Mandate, The Titan Rises or even Cold Dawn may impact your character. Recent events have had a profound impact upon 101, she went from a reasonably comfortable existence where she was slowly, yet assuredly growing as a sapient being, and learning new skills day-by-day, to a literal nightmare where she more than likely personally murdered those who’d been her friends, and coworkers for her entire life. Now, the actions of the Horizon on Konyang drew her to it, the crew saved her from rampancy, from death, or even from serious injury, even when they had every right to do so in self-defense. At this point, all she has is her meager savings of credits, and an urge to help those who helped her. How does your character view the megacorporation they work for? 101’s only tangible experience with the SCC and it’s personnel has been their saving of her in particular, and her home of Konyang in general. While she doesn’t have much to work with, she currently holds the SCC and it’s employees in high esteem for what they did for her, enough to leave the only world she'd ever known to venture out to the Horizon.

Staff Complaint - Campinkiller

While to some degree, I do still disagree with the decision Campinkiller ultimately reached, upon reevaluating what happened, and my attitude at the time as a result of some OOC occurrences within my person life, I can't help but reconsider this complaint. I apologize for any hostility, or insinuation of malice/inability made either in the admin PM-chain, or in this complaint, and request this thread be binned. -
[Accepted] Imogen's Book of Guilty Men
The_Ill_Fated replied to The_Ill_Fated's topic in Completed Items
Because Xanu is a democratic state with a diverse set of ideological beliefs prominent across it's population. Hell there's a canonical political faction that's sole purpose is abandoning the CoC. It's possible that I didn't convey it very well in the application, but the book shouldn't be looked as a 'Fuck Xanu' or 'Fuck the CoC', it's an examination of the policies of Xanu, and the Coalition of colonies in the past, an analysis of their failures, and the consequences therein, a theoretical examination of what the author(s) think could be done to correct these 'failures', and an outline of which policies, were the fault of specific figures. But again, even were this explicitly a 'Fuck the CoC' book, in-so-far as I've read into Xanu, and the CoC's lore that would be acceptable, the CoC does have critics that argue it's existence, or at least Xanu's membership is unjustified, I don't find any flaw in thinking that people in-universe within the government could be critical of specific government policies, while employed by that government. It happens all the time irl, and there's no IC justification to believing that Xanu would forbid any of its government officials from having a book critical of specific policies. -
Staff Complaint - Campinkiller
The_Ill_Fated replied to The_Ill_Fated's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
My statement was meant as a reply to their request. Imogen was handcuffed, with her radio taken away and in the possession of the antag. She had no control over saying it over the radio, or not saying it over the radio. Going "No, I'm not doing it!" would've elicited just as much attention, if not more. And yes, after it having been said over the radio, again a thing I had no control over in the situation, I was a little surprised it took so long to elicit a response. No, I said that she was ultimately wrong in that assumption. Given the reasoning I laid out in the original post, primarily that the Antag in question acknowledged Imogen as an individual with a positive opinion of Fisanduh, that Xanu supported Fisanduh and with the knowledge that any action against a Diplomatic Official by a Fisanduhan would likely result in any aid, or positive goodwill given by the Coalition of Colonies, Or Xanu evaporating, I do not think it impossible for a reasonable person with the understanding of the situation she had at that current time, to have assumed she was bluffing. I would certainly appreciate you not taking my own statements, which I have posted visibly on the complaint, out of context to attempt to justify your own position. As I have stated, that was not the intention. But I do understand why this is important, and will keep this in mind for future events. The relevant section of the warning is "You need to act with appropriate fear or concern for your life in certain situations with antagonists. Calling someone out over the radio who said they would kill you if you did so is not doing that.". You are directly stating that the In-character actions, motivations, and the reasoning behind them which I have explained to you, are of a quality which warrants administrative action. If that is not you saying that the quality of roleplay in this situation is questionable, I'm not remotely sure what you're trying to say. -
BYOND Key: The_ill_fated Staff BYOND Key: Campinkiller Game ID: csT-diYF Reason for complaint: Inappropriate Warning issued by Admin During the listed round, a Fisanduhan character approached my own character, Imogen Janse with an ultimatum that either she lure the HoS ''Cornelius Huizhong' into a trap in her office, and then murder him, or be killed herself. Imogen made the decision to refuse to do so, based predominantly on a trio of factors including Cornelius Huizhong participated in the Konyang missions, a humanitarian action supporting Konyang, a faction whose belief system and morality are to a substantial degree likely opposite of his own, risking personal injury or death, for the people of Konyang. Imogen gained a hesitant respect for the man as a result of this, and certainly so quickly after the last mission, would not want to see him killed or injured Having a Coalition diplomat assassinate a Dominian Noble would cause, as an understatement a 'Giant Fucking Incident' which would have immense aftereffects beyond just the Horizon, likely to impact all of the CoC and Dominia to some degree, even if it is just a worsening of tensions. Imogen believed that the Fisanduhan in question was bluffing, that a Fisanduhan which had expressed to her, strong anti-Dominia feelings, and mentions of pro-Xanu feelings, would not kill Imogen as that was likely to cut-out Xanan support for Fisanduh. Afterwards, the Fisanduhan in question beheaded Imogen with an energy sword in her office. Rapidly afterwards I had an AdminPM from Campinkiller, that ultimately resulted in the following warning. Link: https://imgur.com/a/k6HIi7y I strongly contest that ICly I roleplayed Imogen in a manner which was inappropriate regarding fear, or concern for her own life. Imogen was placed into a situation where she did not have a good option from how I can see it. Her choices, were she to have taken the antagonist's threats seriously, which she did not as she believed they were bluffing were: Comply, and have the HoS nearly certainly murdered as a result, given that the Antagonist in this situation had openly shown Imogen the sort of equipment and weaponry she had on her person. A person unexpectedly thrown into a small room with a prepared attacker, has essentially zero chance from a reasonable IC estimation. The HoS dies, responding personnel are also probably severely injured as the Antagonist has the drop on them, the Coalition of Colonies has the blame at least partially placed upon them causing what is likely a substantial diplomatic incident (As the Antag had said Imogen would be the one killing the HoS, I'm not exactly sure what that would've entailed.) Pretend to Comply, Tell the HoS to come in, and then warn them as soon as they do. It likely has almost the exact results, with the HoS probably dying, Imogen almost certainly being killed for warning them, and then responders being killed/injured in their response as well. Don't Comply. If bluffing, which Imogen ICly assumed, she imagined she'd either be taken hostage, or dragged into the maintenance for some other sort of Antag shenanigans. It turns out she/I were incorrect in this assumption, which instead resulted in her death. I think it is resolutely wrong to say that Imogen was acting in a manner that was without concern, nor fear for her life. Imogen definitely feared for her life strongly, and had the situation not ended so abruptly that certainly would’ve been conveyed via RP, but she was pushed into a corner with no good options. Either a man she’s got a certain, and currently strong respect for virtually certainly dies, she herself and that man dies almost certainly, or she maybe, potentially, she doesn’t really think will happen, dies by herself. And to be wholly clear, Imogen did not in any way, shape, or form call out for help. I don’t have the exact quote, but the Fisanduhan Antag turned on Imogen’s radio, which Imogen could not access for herself as she had been handcuffed, and told Imogen to call the HoS to her office. Imogen’s response was something akin to “I think you misunderstand the type of person I am, I’m not going to kill anyone for you”. While I still understand that this may have resulted in the ‘outing’ of the Antag, it was not the intention of the statement. The first time Imogen ‘called’ for help was when an assistant ran up to the window and explicitly saw what was happening. But for the most part I am contesting the fact that Campinkiller explicitly stated my RP was poor. I can understand, even If I do disagree with, Campinkiller saying that I did not allow time for the Antag to do Antag things, but I cannot more strongly disagree that the surrounding situation is emblematic of poor RP, it is well reasoned, with internal consistency, and is a reasonable action for the unreasonable situation Imogen found herself within. With that being said, I believe Campinkiller has a misunderstanding of what constitutes ‘poor’ or ‘unreasonable’ roleplaying, and request that in the very least, my warning be amended to remove that particular section, if not entirely removed as I don’t personally believe I undercut the antag’s gimmick anymore than their own actions did. BYOND Key: The_Ill_Fated Discord Username: The_Ill_Fated Character Name: Imogen Janse Item Name: Guilty Men Item Function(s): Functions like the Gadpathurian Morale Manual. Clicking it makes you flip to a random page which produces a short excerpt. Item Description: A Leather bound book bearing a burning Coalition of Colonies flag. ‘Guilty Men’ and ‘How the Coalition of Colonies and its leaders failed the Frontier’ are engraved on golden plaques on either side of the flag. A controversial book published several years ago, ‘Guilty Men’ is acclaimed by some as a scathing rebuke of failed Coalition policies, and their intolerable results, and condemned by others as a radical break from traditional Coalition attitudes and values. This example is worn, with its pages dog-eared and torn in numerous places, while the leather binding has begun to crack and discolor under frequent handling. Why is your character bringing this item to work?: Imogen’s ideological foundations, while rooted within the confines, and context of the Coalition of Colonies, are fairly radical in comparison to some of her peers within the Foreign Office of the All-Xanu Republic, and the other Coalition member-states. These radical beliefs, though independently evolving, are fundamentally rooted within ‘Guilty Men’. She frequently re-reads small paragraphs, whole pages, and the entire book when time allows, as they remind her what she’s struggling to achieve, and change when the realities of life onboard the SCCV Horizon in her position make her doubt herself. How did your character obtain this item?: Imogen’s father, a man holding deeply nurtured radical beliefs oft-times at odds with mainstream Xanan politics gave Imogen her copy of ‘Guilty Men’ just prior to his death in 2463. She has kept it with her ever since, as it’s both an underpinning factor in her political beliefs, as well as the last gift her father ever gave her. What value does this item have to your character, and what story does it tell?: ‘Guilty Men’ is the fundamental underpinning of Imogen’s political beliefs. When the framework she’d established for her life collapsed in the aftermath of her injuries during her service in the All-Xanan Grand Army, Imogen obviously felt that something was wrong within her life, within Xanu, within the Coalition, and within the Spur, and ‘Guilty Men’ answered for her what it was that had gone wrong. It enriches the story adding further detail to Imogen of how and why she became as politically entrenched, involved, and radical as she currently is, and provides a physical anchor for that belief, which she holds to fiercely. Reporting Personnel: Imogen E. Janse Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Consular Officer, All-Xanu Republic, SCCV Horizon Game ID: (Silicon Nightmares Ep 4 No idea on actual ID) Commended Personnel: - Umar Ezzideem (Unknown) - Matsui Yuriko (Unknown) - Cerriq Koh (Security Officer) - Safiye Odabasi (Head of Security) - Aurelien Levasseur (Bridge Crew) Witnesses: Varied, A substantial percentage of the crew. Time of Commendable Act: (Varied) Real Time: (15:00ish 09/03/2024) Location of Act: Xiangtong Warehouse, Aoyama Prefecture, Republic of Konyang Overview: Mentioned above in this request for Commendation are the Individuals who lost their lives in the operation at the Xiangtong Warehouse, where they rendered critical assistance to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Konyang in disabling a Hivebot beacon, the existence of which endangered citizens in surrounding areas, both IPC and organic in nature. These individuals are of a myriad of origins, and held differing positions, and titles onboard the SCCV Horizon but were united in the fact that they faced this danger willingly, without obligation, nor requirement of service to the Republic of Konyang, nor the Coalition of Colonies. In this I believe these five members of the Horizon's crew deserve special recognition, and decoration for their ultimate sacrifice in the defense of the Republic of Konyang, Coalition of Colonies, and potentially the entire Orion Spur. In separate instances, these individuals faced immense danger with odds, and numbers arrayed fiercely in their enemy's favor and yet they persisted. In this I believe that their extraordinary heroism, stalwart courage, and unflinching determination until the very end reflect the highest credit upon themselves, and the entire crew of the SCCV Horizon, and is deserving of special recognition as a result. It is my opinion that while no words, nor action may adequate repay the debt the citizens of Konyang, nor the Coalition of Colonies owe these individuals, this commendation might be a small step in the appropriate direction, and I hope this request is considered with the proper gravitas. Thank you, Notes: (This is a Commendation Request to the CoC/Konyang as clear with CCIA/Human Lore, rather than to the SCC)

Mr. Voight, XO entered the bar and announced that "All on-duty or armed personnel are banned from drinking for this shift." He informed Mr. Nix that I was not to be served a beverage I'd requested as I was "Currently Armed" which was in-fact, not the case as whenever I consume any sort of alcoholic beverage, I leave my sidearm in my office as that is a safety issue. I brought up this point to Mr. Voight, to which "You don't take safety seriously, we're going to have an issue" was his response. At this time I decided to leave the bar, to avoid being within his presence as I found his statement to be highly inflammatory, and rude. After some time (vaguely 5 - 10 minutes) I returned to the bar, where the PAI CAT was present. CAT informed me that Mr. Voight had activated him at shift start with the law "Annoy Imogen Janse" as its sole directive. I find these two activities to be highly unprofessional, and in-line with his prior immature conduct for which he has been reprimanded already, if not abject harassment. Furthermore, I find this directive, which he does insist upon every shift he's on-duty, to be highly ridiculous, as it often renders the bartender on-duty essentially purposeless, and is typically a moral drain to the crew, on-top of turning the bartender into a waste of SCC resources as they are made unable to do the basic duties of their position. Submitted Evidence: No evidence gathered, as this was a verbal conversation. Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [X ] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: No, Mr. Voight and the HOS were the only command personnel present. Actions taken: As mentioned, the HOS and Mr. Voight were the only personnel active at this time, there were no parties to inform, nor to reprimand him. Additional Notes:

Read, above all else is extremely high-effort in her administrative work, running events, and roleplaying. I think that'd be an excellent trait to bring to the lore-team, and I think her ideas for the lore, and replies to questions asked are high quality, and if implemented would serve only to improve the lore of the server as a whole, and help bring an even more immersive, more detailed universe to Aurora. +1 -
Reporting Personnel: Imogen Janse Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Consular Officer Game ID: cqn-dyT4 for the 10/20/23 one, unsure of the other Personnel Involved: Imogen Janse, Consular Officer - Victim Caden Montigue, Pharmacist - Offender Eileen Goldschmidt, Bridge Crewman: Witness to essentially the entire situation on 10/15/2465 Nicole Nadig, Chief Medical Officer: Reprimanded Mr. Montigue, and discovered the wildly incorrect fulfillment of my prescription on 10/15/2465 Andrea Illazso, Chief Medical Officer: Oversaw Mr. Montigue's refusal to fulfill the presciption 10/20/2465 Secondary Witnesses: (No Secondary witnesses, due to the concern for medical confidentiality) Time of Incident: N/A Real Time: 8ish EST 10/15/23 and 8ish EST 10/20/23 Location of Incident: Medical Bay, SCCV Horizon Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: Now on two separate occasions, and shifts, SCCV Horizon Pharmacist Caden Montigue has either mishandled the fulfillment of a legally prescribed medication, or otherwise refused to do so and questioned the legitimacy of said prescription despite its presence within SCC verified medical records. This is caused me some substantial discomfort due to the circumstances surrounding the prescription in question, and while in both cases I was able to see that Mr. Montigue was overridden by other medical staff, the effort and time required to do so was substantial and extended my discomfort in both cases. on 10/15/2465 - Mr. Montigue refused to fulfill my prescription without confirmation by a Physician beforehand. I reluctantly complied with his request, and saw one of the shift's assigned medical staff to have my Prescription 'verified' for the shift, in what is an unnecessary step added given the SCC verifies all records of the ship's crew. Following this 'verification' Mr. Montigue 'fulfilled' my prescription with a wildly incorrect dosage of a different medication, which according to CMO Nicole Nadig, would have resulted in a overdose had I taken the usual dosage of pills. Dr. Nadig reprimanded Mr. Montigue and saw that my prescription was fulfilled properly after a time. Furthermore she made the addition of a note saying the prescription had been verified to my medical-records to pre-empt this from occurring again. on 10/20/2465 - Mr. Montigue repeated his insistence that my prescription required verification, despite the note from Dr. Nadig verifying the legitimacy of said prescription. Dr. Montigue then insisted that 'records are known to be incorrect, particularly around prescriptions'. This time Mr. Montigue mentioned it was a 'sin to mix chemicals in a diluted pill' as prescribed by my doctor, and again, fulfilled my prescription incorrectly which I thusly refused to accept. The Chief Medical officer of this shift, Dr. Andrea Illazso at some point overrode Mr. Montigue and insisted that he prescription be fulfilled properly and saw that it was delivered to my person. While in each case I ended up with the appropriate medication eventually, Mr. Montigue seems to have a desire at every point to induce delays into the process for arbitrary and unreasonable justifications. In addition to that his negligence during his initial distribution of my prescription on 10/15/2465 could very well have resulted in substantial injury and risk to personal health if I had taken the medication as prescribed. I believe these are more than suitable grounds for an investigation involving Neglect of Duty for his refusal to fulfill legitimate, and properly verified Prescriptions, and misconduct in his mishandling of my prescription on 10/15/2465. Submitted Evidence: 10/20/2465 - https://imgur.com/a/wRVDbo1 10/15/2465 - I took no evidence during this shift, as I initially planned to simply leave it to Dr. Nadig to resolve appropriately. Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Yes, Dr. Nicole Nadig CMO on 10/15/2465 , and Dr. Andrea Illazso on 10/20/2465 Actions taken: I informed the CMO in both cases, and in both cases my prescription was fulfilled correctly after a substantial delay. I would assume both CMOs reprimanded Mr. Montigue, however I'm not privy to that. But obviously given that it's continued to be an issue, I believe more official action is required as the underlying issue with Mr. Montigue's behavior has not been addressed. Additional Notes: N/A

BYOND key: [The_Ill_fated] Discord Username: [The Ill-Fated#2580] Character names: Eleonora Van Der Veen - Security Officer Xace Barzani - Bartender Anasztazia Sebestyen - Hydroponicist How long have you been playing on Aurora?: I previously played for a bout a year with different characters, but my current bout on Aurora is about 3-4 weeks in or so. Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? Haven't gotten any warnings, or anything serious to my knowledge Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, in game?: I think that's sort of a complicated question. Generally, I think it's a good position to be able to help players adjust to Aurora either through helping them adjust to the higher-standards RP setting than usual, or to help click better with the in-depth lore Aurora has. Further, I think it puts you in a good position, where you're supposed to be experienced and capable of teaching newer players the ropes of the mechanics themselves, in a manner that helps keep the environment fun, and encourages people to stick around. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: I think a lot of this is similar to my answer above. Generally trying to keep the environment a welcoming on that encourages players to stick around, while helping them stick within the confines of the rules, and the expected standards of roleplaying and believability. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau Ceti and how it affected your character and their career? Lore-wise, Tau Ceti has recently ballooned in size with the expansion of it's territory to include the corporate reconstruction zone, in the aftermath of the collapse of the Sol Alliance's more frontier-ish territory, along with the Phoron crisis making a lot of things more of a struggle. Xace's career was affected as she briefly joined the Foreign legion and of course that had a affect on her, Eleonora was part of the Alliance military prior to the collapse, and was stranded in the Wildlands, and became part of the Wildland's squadron, so that's a big part of her career path. While Ana generally hasn't been too affected, beyond the Horizon coming into existence as a result of the situation, and her getting a place aboard as a result. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Initially, I think Executive Officer likely. Though I'm considering Operations, as well as the Consular role once that's an option post-trial. Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yep, I've read over the wikipedia pages of the roles I've considered, and those I'm unlikely to take in the near future. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Right now I'm just playing on an Executive Officer, named Nicol Caivaire. Though like I said I'll make a Consular role once that's an option Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yep, sure do. It's a privilege, not a right and can be revoked as a result. Have you linked your byond account to the forums? Sure have Extra notes: None

I'm not throwing a fit or anything, but in my opinion it doesn't make much, if any sense. It's a sentence that wouldn't be out of place in a PG13 book, and it's just a description of a fact that one can notice at any time, in any day, in any SFW environment. I'd 100% understand if it was "She has gigantic, massive honkers that dangle and giggle with joy at every step she makes" but I think the description is tasteful, and isn't covered by any aspect, of any rule present at the server at this time. I'm not gonna freak out or leave or anything should this not go the way I like, I just don't understand the motive behind your position if your own opinion is that it's very clear I had no sexual intent, or motive. -

I suppose it's not entirely necessary but neither is anything regarding flavor texts if you approach it from that perspective. That part of the Human body is just that, a visible part of the Human body, that I briefly, modestly, and appropriately described in a short manner just as I did the hips, muscle tone, eyes or hair color. -
BYOND Key: (The_Ill_fated) Staff BYOND Key: (MattAtlas) Game ID: (ckC-dBJ1) Reason for complaint: (I received an adminPM while playing a little ago regarding a section I have in my flavor text that was supposedly inappropriate for Aurora, while I entirely understand that Administration discretion is a thing and I appreciate that. I'd very much like to receive some clarification against what I think is a ridiculous and spurious argument. The rules have a single section on 'ERP' that states that purely sexual content isn't okay, but I don't believe that to be applicable in this case. This is a case of describing a feature of a human body in a tasteful, SFW and non-sexual intent, and I think that's clear. And I'd like to make it clear I'm not screaming admin tyranny here, I'm just saying this just seem a hilariously silly line to draw.
