  1. I agree, the center nexus of the Horizon is honestly a death trap for any engineers trying to do damage control. For example, bad atmos from the hangar takes a single door opening to get to the upper levels/central ring, blocking a whole lot of people from being able to get to medical, security, or engineering without inflatables or a suit. Moving through doors spreads the atmos further, and before long you've got a list of atmos alerts that you need to scroll through. I could also have a "go-off" about how Engineers not having access to air alarm remote control makes DC that much more tedious when you don't have a chief engineer or an atmos tech, but I will save that for another thread.
  2. Which is why I suggested a ladder be added. Not all of them even need to be filled (if I had to pick, it would be the two holes in the first image), but it's really bad whenever a breach happens remotely in that area. Even with a team of 3-4 engineers, it can sometimes take the entire round and beyond to clear up atmos awfulness just because maints in the aft section is so open.
  3. Fill in these holes in maintenance with MORE CATWALK/add a ladder instead of stairs. So far whenever I've damage-controlled as engie, Deck 2 Aft has been extremely annoying and tedious to refill pressure, reduce temperature, or stop the spread of atmos hazards because there's a big hole that allows exchange of bad air between levels. I think if these holes were covered up, it would make damage control a little more streamlined and less vulnerable to atmos grief.
