Nuke ops? I'd level with that, considering they're the only antags that get gibboomers. Getting gibbed is very sad. I would also say round-start cult, since good deceivers (i.e., roleplayers, i guess) is what you need early game since you can't gankconvert here. Worst. Any other role? Nah, not really. Team-based roles I can understand, but solo op antagonists in my mind should stay open even to day 1 ckeys.

Clever, yes, but these are its contents. Doesn't have the full set. Though, if it did, it'd just be called 'forensic tools'. I'll talk to Scopes about it.
-
And that is why I don't think this is going to happen.

This just screams 'ew' to me.

Wow, this is... weird. Kinda reminds me of the platinum chip from FNV, except said chip actually is an anchor to keep your character alive. At the very least, I will say this is very interesting. Not sure how to go about it myself, since... Well, I'm not sure what you want from it. When the chip separates from your character, do they outright die, or do they just go 'unconscious'?

byond://server.aurorastation.org:1234 Should also work, too, logs you into the server. Edit: I'm... an idiot. Whatever, reading is for chumps.

Hi! Poking my nose in. Once I get done with the clothing vendor and have Scopes approve it+have the mappers map it in with the 'current' and the landmap, you won't have to worry about a serious lack of tacticools on the station. It'll basically make this application kinda redundant save for this application here merely just fishing the tacticool to you faster.

It's my personal preference, but. Ballistics are typically automatic or have negligible firedelay. Though ballistics are rare as energy weaponry is favored, ballistics generally have high damage output over lasers. Ballistics at the moment are cheap, easy to use and simple enough to master. Although their lack of precision and flexibility in long range environments leaves a lot to be desired, their impact is huge due to the severity of broken limbs. With lethal ammunition, ballistics are excellent for killing someone very quickly. Although the weapons themselves are difficult to acquire, ammunition is always in bountiful supply via a lathe. Only problem is, reloading takes a little while and running out means you're screwed entirely. I dunno, I guess people prefer diversity. Others will prefer lasers for their flexibility in scenarios with windows and their 2x paincrit modifier thanks to burn damage.

Might see about doing this and perhaps adding a full bio-suit to the medical sterile equipment crate, just cuz, cuh c:

I want socks so that the moment I take off my extremely bloodied and gory 2d shoes to wash them, I don't have to look like I'm too poor to afford socks. Walking barefoot on steel is the least comfortable thing ever. I prefer socks that go up to my ankles, personally, but it's anyone else's discretion or perogative if they wanna wear stockings or whatever, I can't be bothered to care. Anyway. If a spriter can go ahead and do some tweaking so that we don't have ridiculous rainbow socks and instead have optional department oriented/color coded SpaceHanes-brand socks, that'd be great. I can look into character setup overlays and see if it works.

Add back the gas canisters to Cargo's orderable items
Zidanyia replied to Killerhurtz's topic in Archive
You can create canisters using sheets of metal now. I believe you can also pick their sprite by doing that. -
I figured out why, well not really it was because Scopes told me. Apparently the AI core's back camera behind its core unit didn't used to have x-ray, until some mapper whose name I don't remember decided to add "all the things" to that specific camera. To add onto that, every camera in the brig was also given x-ray, nightvision, EMP proof, et cetera. One of the mappers fixed this so that every single camera would not have the x-ray or the motion sensors, which was applied to every camera for some reason. That's partly why your external armory camera doesn't have motion sensors anymore. Somebody goofed it up, it had to be fixed, and what was left over was relatively minor and so it was overlooked.

Well said. It is more or less irritating, I agree, that we get the same 'problem' coming in over and over again, that being new players making mistakes or just plain up bad decisions. Kinda (y)our job to help mitigate that by either helping out the new (or shnew) players when necessary. Using a tone that's more or less exciting that you're willing to teach them and being painfully patient usually makes the person you're teaching feel all nice, gooey and special inside. Arguably, I would say everybody has a nice, gooey and special side. Even if your personality clashes with it, try the best you can to teach people when they ask or if they look like they need something. I'd also say we need less complaining about mistakes and more along the lines of trying to get a better understanding of who we all are and try to compromise with our problems. We need to get rid of the divide between the 'serious' players and the 'casual' players. There has to be a way to find the middle ground here. Y'all should watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMtFodY40PM, by the way. It's very insightful.

Correct. Can't believe I'm seriously saying this, but cat ears will indeed be considered contraband. The excuse for it is that they're imported and made from illicit materials, that being real kitten fur and animatronics.
-
I'm voting to outright remove it. There's no need for something like this level of destruction should exist on an RP server of all places. Its location in the center of the station is a mapping oversight, but I would rather temporarily remove it until it can be balanced out properly.
-
probably
-
Yes. Do note that not everything is final and I have to run everything through Scopes before anything gets merged. So, potentially, there won't be 666 pairs of cat ears.
-
The armory's external cameras should already have motion sensors by design, but considering you folk underwent a mapping redesign awhile ago, it's possible they weren't given motion sensors like EVA or the AI upload.
-
It begins.

It's also courtesy, so uh, yeah.

I now hate this 6x more because of that. If it gets implemented, I think it's safe to say in good faith that antagonists will make the biometric database their first target 100% of the time just so that they can walk through every single airlock, provided it's located on-station.

They stack up more than you know.

((This looks promising, but it doesn't look like it gets updated regularly. I see a lot of people who don't get responses :/ ))

Getting permission first. Tired. Must go to bed, will see about talking to scopes in the mornin'. Anyway, we'll see, mmkay?
