Not screw around and grief, but rather to roleplay out their stories together in a more station-focused story and see where the round goes by developing relationships with one another. This is a server with higher expectations of its players (and of course, of its staff as a result), and thus depending on the scenario we often need to make OOC consequence for rule violations and shit RP felt and near-real. I can say for certainty, with support of some of the staff, that I did my job correctly in this case. Whether I did enough to ensure you got the message, frankly, you did not. You just don't seem to understand what it means to be responsible, you cannot for the life of you be a humble person when it matters and you have absolutely no restraint whatsoever when you realize you get punished or put in a humiliating spot. You flew off the handle at almost everyone involved in this thread because they didn't agree with you and you accused them of being traitors out to get you. It is like looking at the spitting old image of my previous self that took everyone and everything seriously. It makes me physically ill to try to recall some of the most cringeworthy shit I I did and things I said. What you have to understand here is we are not omniscient. It is entirely possible you have done things that we should have banned/talked to you for. Thats on us though so its not your fault. The location you chose for this was pretty poor. You vented a significant area of the station for a pretty dull reason. I agree with the assessment of the staff on hand at the time. Your location could have been a lot better. Indeed it would have stopped this from being a problem in the first place. Your attitude at the time was also pretty uncalled for. Come on man, we are not out to get you. Yet it always feels like it, I feel a strong bias that 1138 has aganist me due to the past. And the only reason I did it was because I knew it was easily fixable, the picture 1138 took was minutes after, and it was already fixed, if you really think I am in the wrong, then i really dont know who I can trust

It started off as me being tator and I go, "Oh I'm going to put a pod down and see how people react that a ballistic pod landed in the station. I put in in departures, about 20 minutes into the round, so in no way was I stopping an escape. I activated it and later was then asked by 1138 about it, I said I wanted to let other people RP about why it landed, and to make sure not everyone is bored AF during the round, He said "middle of escape at the start of the round without adequate roleplay provocation besides "giving people something to do". This is no better than bombing for no reason." It was something to start the Roleplay, not hurt the crew. I then said in AOOC that I was going to leave and then 1138 then said "He is whining, please ignore him"<---- That right there was untrue and i was just telling my friends in AOOC that I am getting off. And to top it off, I have done this before where if I don't think a mod is explaining something in a way where I don't understand it, I will ask for an admin to explain it again, I asked 1138 about 3 times to do that, was ignored on the first two and finally noticed on the third, When I had to type it in all caps. I really don't think the warning was utterly needed, considering the fact that I have blow up the station with toxins bombs, then talked by Alb about what I was doing, then he said I was fine. I would like to point out that this isn't about just Edgar, but about both my characters that are capable, I have realized people really are tired of Edgar, and I understand that. But I've tried new characters and stuff. Dont Just grade Edgar, grade everyone I play. But I do appreciate your feedback, i have worked on being a better leader IC and oocly.

Okay. You claim time and time again that Edgar is the person who wants to get stuff done yet whenever I see him ICly, he doesn't seem very serious about his job or what he is doing. He does seem like one of those characters that wouldn't be leading a department. At this point, am not supporting this application if you are going to have Edgar as a RD. New ideas are needed. And I question that length of the roleplay that you've tried with new characters. Start fresh, purely play that character for like a week or so, if they are good, people will start to notice. When I first started with Auralia, she was a throwaway character because I wanted to see how a lighter skinned white Skrell would look. I just so happened to play her time and time again for a while and people started recognizing her and appreciating (or not) the roleplay that went on. Now she is one of my more recognizable characters. I say that you should start fresh with a brand new character, not throw out that it is you and just roleplay. Maybe for a week. Keep playing as that character, develop their story, where they are from, their family, how they think, what their opinions on random shit are. Once you start thinking about how they would think, your ability to roleplay will improve drastically. You should get in the mindset that your character is a real person and do things that a real person would do. You just need to put in the time and effort, it'll come eventually.
